Commission-Raebareli(UP) TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE OF UNUSABLE WASTE/SCRAP Rate Rs It is well aware that the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) a statutory body created by an Act of Parliament (No.61 of 1956 and as amended by Act No.12 of 1987) and functioning under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India. Central Sliver Plant, Raebareli is a unit of KVIC supplying raw material to certified Khadi Institutions involving in Employment Generation throughout the country. For the sale/dispose off unusable waste/scrap of the unit, quotations from the reputed waste processing firms/traders are required as per the terms appended belows: 1- Type of waste/scrap: Processing unusable waste/scrap i.e. Blow Room & Carding droppings, Flat waste, Fan/fly waste, Comber noil, Blended P/C waste, Sweeping/Gutter waste, Old iron scrap, Bale cloth scrap, All polyethens scrap, Burnt oil, Damaged cable/wires, Packing wood scrap etc. 2- Quantity: The buyer has to off take the entire unusable waste/scrap on the monthly basis delivering quanity of 6000 kg (approx) per month for a contract period of yearly. 3- Physical verification: The buyer may check & verify the quality of unusable waste/scrap before tendering at our Plant above on any working day. Since the Plant is processing various varieties of cotton and hence quality of the unusable waste may deviate accordingly. 4- Off-take of goods: The buyer has to arrange off take of present unusable waste/scrap on its own cost from our Plant above i. F.O.R.-Raebareli within one week from the confirmation of the order Further the waste is to be off taken/lifte on monthly basis or when required. Packing charges and applicable taxes will be borne by the buyer. 5- Payments Terms: Before off-take the material from our site, the buyer has to deposit the required amount at Plant through demand draft/rtgs as per the delivery challan/invoices. 6- Income/Sales Tax Clearance: All tenderors have to submit copies of registration of Firm, Sales Tax and Income tax etc. alongwith the latest clearance certificate of Sales & Income tax. Original may be checked at the time of tendering. 7- Earnest-Money: All tenderors have to furnish an earnest money of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousands only) in the form of Demand Draft of any nationalized bank favouring Khadi & V.I. Commission Trading Account payable at Raebareli with the tender application on letter head of the firm which will be refunded to non-accepted and that of accepted tender will be adusted in security deposit. 8- Security Deposit: Accepted agencies have to deposit an additional amount of Rs.30,000/-(Rupees Ten thousands only) for interest free security deposit of total worth Rs.20,000/- which will be kept at Plant till expiry of the contract.. 9- Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of the contract while placing the order will be solely decided by a Arbitration appointed our office. In such case, provision of Arbitration and Reconciliation Act shall apply to such arbitration proceedings.the place of arbitration shall be at Raebareli/Lucknow Tenderer who downloaded the tender form KVIC website, cost of tender form i.e. Rs.500/- has to paid by the demand draft while submitting the tender. After submission of tender, no modification in tendered rate or withdrawl of tender shall be allowed. Such action shall be liable to forfeiture of EMD. I/we agree with the terms & conditions stipulated from S.No. 1 to 9 above.
