He started his career in 1978 with the Fireman s Fund Insurance Company and since then has held various positions within the Allianz Group. Prior to being appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Regional Unit London, Carsten was the President & CEO of Allianz Global Corporate &Specialty Americas responsible for United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil corporate business.
