We are also subject to the regulations that ensure the security of all policies written at Lloyd s. 5 ASCOT INTERNATIONAL 6 claims management We know that above all else our clients are most concerned about what happens if they need to make a claim. Ascot places the highest priority on paying valid claims as quickly as possible, with an emphasis on being fair and even handed. Our Claims Management Model provides for an efficient and effective way of handling a broad spectrum of claims of varying size and complexity, providing outstanding service to our clients. To achieve this we manage high value complex claims in-house and outsource the handling of routine claims with the aim of getting them resolved quickly and efficiently. Outsourcing gives us access to the best and most appropriate claims handling resources, which are managed transparently through SLA s including turnaround times, static claims, and adjusting quality. Ascot has invested in an expert in-house adjusting team to manage the determination of complex claims. In making decisions our adjusters involve the underwriters in the process and the team works closely with our Underwriting, Legal and Executive teams to ensure that Ascot is consistent and accurate in the determination of claims, which makes a significant difference to clients when it matters most.

Our expertise in the global marine market and flexibility on terms and conditions allow us to create bespoke solutions for our clients. Hull We write a core hull account coupled with a broader client base on total loss interests and war risks. We also write a significant portfolio of vessel construction for a number of the world s best shipyards. Our key areas of expertise include Construction/Builder s Risks, Hull and Machinery, Interests - IV/TLO/MII, War & Special Contingency, and Mega Yachts.
