This reference guide has been developed to give you a detailed explanation of the functionality available within the system. Should you have any questions that are not covered in this reference guide, please speak with your Zurich representative. Page 3

4 Navigation, Functions and Alerts Navigation around Z.streamXpress couldn t be easier. Below you will find an introduction to the Navigation menu along with the common alerts and buttons relating to system functionality. The left hand panel (referred to as the Navigation menu) is where you will find the various screens and sections that relate to the product. The Zurich Strata Insurance section contains various screens relating to the policy and its coverage. The Tools section allows you to add attachments. Alerts. Various alerts will be displayed in the navigation menu based on mandatory information requirements and referral triggers. * A red asterisk highlights the mandatory fields required to complete the transaction. The red flag in the navigation menu indicates that a referral has been generated in that particular section and requires further underwriting consideration. The green flag in the navigation menu indicates that the referral has been approved. The red flag with an X in the navigation menu indicates that the transaction has been declined. The icon in the navigation menu alerts you to mandatory information that is missing. Where this appears in the navigation menu a more detailed explanation will be shown at the top of the respective screen. For example: Bottom Panel. At the bottom of the screen, you will find another menu containing a number of functional and navigation options. A yellow alert indicates a calculation is required. Press Calculate to refresh or calculate the premium. Select Done to complete the transaction. This will automatically take you back to your broking system. Allows you to add a manual referral. Allows you to move to the next screen Click to add page notes. These print on the schedule. Allows you to net rate the quote/policy. Allows you to re-apply standard commission to the quote/policy. Allows you to return to the previous screen. Saving and Exiting. Users can choose to select the Done button shown above, or they can use the Save & Exit buttons at the top right of the Z.streamXpress screen. The Save option allows you to intermittently save your work without exiting. This exits the transaction any unsaved data will be lost. Note: If you press Save and Exit you will be taken back to the broking system where the transaction will be in an incomplete status. Page 4

5 Referrals When a red referral flag is shown on the left hand navigation panel the transaction must be referred to Zurich for manual rating. To review the referral details, click on the Referral icon and you will be presented with the Referrals pop up window. See below. The Referrals pop up window contains current and historic referral information. You can review detailed information relating to an individual referral and the referral decision within the Message section of the Referral pop up. If a risk is declined, you will not be able to proceed with this risk. Broker referral comments and the Underwriter s decision can be included for referrals. This can be a useful way to record underwriting information relating to each referral and can assist Zurich in making an underwriting decision. Note: These comments will not print on policy documents. System generated referrals cannot be removed. The green referral flag shown on the left hand navigation panel indicates that the referral has been approved. No further action is required. Page 5

7 1 Do you wish to import from an existing quote? Where a quote has been manually provided by Zurich, or if the quote was entered by your office using Z.streamXpress via Web Direct, you can import the quote details to avoid re-entering the data. To use this option, select Yes, enter in the quote number and click on Import quote details. This doesn t give you the exact quote it only provides the data associated with the imported quote. You will still be required to recalculate and finalise the quote. 2 Account. If only one account exists, this will be added by default into this section. If more than one account exists for your brokerage, you will need to select an account from the drop down list. All accounts will have account descriptions. Account name. Once you have selected the account, then the account name is automatically populated within this field. Policy wording. Select the appropriate policy wording from the drop down list. Name of holding underwriter? Select the name of the holding underwriter from the drop down list. Are you the holding broker? Select either Yes or No from the drop down list. 3 Client ref. This is the reference used to identify your client. Insured name. Enter either the Company title name or Strata Plan number e.g. Strata Plan Page 7

9 1 Number of claims. Enter the number of claims within the last 5 years. Total incurred cost of claims. Enter the total incurred cost of all of your claims within the last 5 years. Note: Additional claims details may be required based on your number of claims and total incurred cost of claims. You can either add the specific details for each claim e.g. or add the claims details as an attachment using Attach claims history : Click Attach claims history An Add attachment pop up window window is launched is launched Enter the document name Enter a document description Select Browse... Browse to to attach the document document from the from directory the on directory your PC on Click your PC Attach to complete the Click process. 11 1 Street No/Name. Enter the address of where the Building is located. Google Maps. This function allows you to check the location of the Building street view (where available) can assist in risk assessment. Click on the Google Maps icon to show the Building location on the Google Maps website. 2 Building information. All fields within this section are mandatory and need to be completed. Type of title. Select from the drop down list whether the Building is: Awaiting Registration scheduled for Strata planning and awaiting acceptance Registered Strata Title already has an existing Strata title Company Title ownership by a company Type of building. Select either Single, Multi or Townhouse/Duplex/Villa from the drop down list. Single Building is a single building that has multiple storeys or is a high rise building Multi Building are two or more buildings at the situation, normally multi storey or high rise Townhouse/Duplex/Villa one or more buildings (that are not a high rise) that make up a strata complex Year built. This is the year when the Building was first constructed not registered. Walls. Select the wall type from the drop down list. Roof. Select the roof type from the drop down list. Floor. Select the floor type from the drop down list. Units. Enter the number of units. Lifts. Enter the number of lifts. Gyms. Enter the number of gyms. Pools. Enter the number of pools. Tennis courts. Enter the number of tennis courts. Storeys. Select the number of storeys from the drop down list. Does the property have any of the following; jetties, marinas, pontoons, lakes, water features, playgrounds, etc? Select either Yes or No from the drop down list. Note: If Yes is selected, then this will require Zurich acceptance. 3 Building usage. All Building usage questions must be answered. Select the percentage range for each question from the drop down lists. What percentage of total floor space does the property contain business activities? This field requires disclosure of units that are occupied by a business. What percentage of the property is occupied as Holiday Letting? If the answer to this question is Above 30%, then an additional question must be answered: Page 11

12 4 Add page notes. General page notes are used for noting any changes in cover, location or expansion of information not contained in the forms. All general page notes will print with policy schedules. General page notes can be added whenever the Add page notes button appears. The use of general page notes requires Zurich acceptance and will generate a referral. Add referral. If you need Zurich to review any aspect of your policy, add a manual referral by selecting the Add referral button. Page 12

15 1 Building. Enter the Building sum insured. Note: Loss of rent, temporary costs and environmental upgrade are the major additional benefits and they are not required to be entered in this Building sum insured. Common contents. Enter the common contents sum insured. Note: The total cost of Building and Common contents should not exceed $50 million. Catastrophe cover. Select Yes or No from the drop down list. Legal liability. Select the sum insured from the drop down list. Office bearer s liability. This defaults to Not insured. If you need to select a sum insured, select the amount from the drop down list. Note: To return this field to Not insured, click on the trash can icon which appears next to the drop down list e.g. Fidelity guarantee. The sum insured is automatically defaulted for this field. Personal accident (voluntary workers). The sum insureds automatically default for Capital and Weekly cover. Body corporate entity liability. This defaults to Not insured. If you need to select a sum insured, select the amount from the drop down list. Note: To return this field to Not insured, click on the trash can icon which appears next to the drop down list. Machinery breakdown. This defaults to Not insured. If you need to select a sum insured, select the amount from the drop down list. Note: To return this field to Not insured, click on the trash can icon which appears next to the drop down list. 2 Excess. If the Machinery breakdown risk is selected, then a default excess is added: Note: Voluntary excess cannot be amended if claims are noted. Page 15

17 1 Situation. Indicates premium breakdown per risk. Policy. Indicates total policy premium. Commission. If you wish to alter the standard commission, amend the required % and recalculate. 2 Net rate. Allows you to net rate the quote/policy. Page 17

19 1 Client reference. Details default from Zurich Strata Insurance screen. Insured name. Details default from Zurich Strata Insurance screen. Insured mailing address: c/o of intermediary. If you select Yes, the mailing address of the intermediary is populated into the relevant address fields. If No is selected, then either the mailing address of the client or the situation is populated into the relevant address fields. Google Maps. Enter the risk location, select the Google Maps icon and Google Maps will show you the Building location on the Google Maps website. 2 Insured contact details. Some details are populated by the broking system. However, you are able to add new or additional information as desired. Page 19

23 1 Closing number. Enter the closing/reference number in this section. Close Now? This option relates to producing a Cover Note or a New Business policy. Selecting No will leave the New Business as a Cover Note. Selecting Yes will change the transaction type to a New Business policy once it has been confirmed/accepted in your broking system (allowing you to skip the Cover Note stage). 2 Documents available to print. Based on the transaction type and status, the system will present you with a list of documents available to print. Select the documents you wish to have printed. When exiting the product you will be able to retrieve the documents from your broking system. Note: Certificate of Currency documentation is available for print at policy level. 3 Policy status. This shows you the transaction type and status. Page 23

24 Tools Attachments Adding attachments. Relevant documents e.g. claims experience, declarations, quote slips, etc, can be attached to the policy transaction via the attachments section. 1 Enter the name of the document. 2 Select the document type from the drop down list. 3 Enter a description of the document. 4 Select Browse to attach a document from a directory on your PC. 5 Click Attach to complete the process. The document will then be available for viewing by Zurich. To view a previously added document, select the attachment and double click to open. Page 24
