1 Welcome to The Guest House at Driftwood For a more confortable stay, you may need to know the following: SMOKING: Please help us keep the guest house smoke-free. WATER: Your water source is ultra-purified rainwater collected from the roof of the main house providing safe, superior quality water that is both refreshing and soft to the touch. Your help in conserving this precious resource is greatly appreciated. TEMPERATURE: The thermostat for central heating and air conditioning is located in the hallway. Use the increase/decrease buttons to adjust to your comfort. KITCHEN FACILITIES: The full kitchen includes: refrigerator/freezer, stovetop/oven, dishwasher, cooking utensils, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, blender, hot water dispenser and dining for 4 people. Fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink. TOILET: To help with water conservation, toilets are low flow. While the septic system is effective, please flush only toilet paper to avoid clogging. LINENS: Extra bath linens are in the bathroom cabinet. Blankets are in the bedroom closet. LAUNDRY: A washer/dryer is located in the hallway. Ironing board is located in the bedroom closet. Laundry detergent is under the bathroom sink. MAINTENANCE: If you notice anything that needs repair, please let us know. We hope you enjoy your stay!

In the event of unforeseen problems during your stay, please inform us immediately and we will make every effort to make repairs expediently and assure your comfort is a priority. Upon Arrival: Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Please take a few moments to review the guest guide and familiarize yourself with the comforts of the guest house. Please let us know immediately if there is anything out of order. Although Esther and Lawrence live on the property, we respect and value your privacy during your stay. 4 The Guest House at Driftwood Rental Agreement The property owners make every effort to maintain the residence, ensure the accommodations are very clean, and have all mechanical items in top working condition. If you experience any issues during your stay, contact us immediately. The Guest agrees to compensate the owners for any damages caused by their negligence, including missing or damaged property. This is a NON SMOKING RESIDENCE. Smoking outside the home is permitted. However, we do ask all guests to properly dispose of cigarette buds and trash. Guests acknowledge and respect the peace and quiet of the Driftwood community. Guests acknowledge and understands that this reservation is only for two guests listed herein below. Guests are not to start any open fires. Driftwood and Hays County have specific laws relating to the burning of refuge, camp fires, etc. and guest agree not to start any such fires. Guests understand that they are renting a private home located in the Texas Hill Country. As such, Guests understand that there are snakes, scorpions, and other wild animals/insects that the Owner of the property cannot control or eliminate. While the owner of the property has taken reasonable precautions to insure the safety of its guest, you should use common sense and extreme caution when outdoors. The property is privately owned; the homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guest are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others who they invite to use the premise. RELEASE AND INDEMINTY: Guests use of these facilities is at their own risk. Guests holds Owner harmless from any and all liability for damages and /or injuries resulting to Guests or any invitees of Guests whether said injury or loss is caused by Owner s negligence or not.
