1 PRODUCT DISCLOSURE SHEET Please read this Product Disclosure Sheet before you decide to subscribe for Vehicle Financing-i Be sure to also read the terms and conditions of this product BANK RAKYAT VEHICLE FINANCING-i Date: 1 What is this product about? This product offers financing facility to purchase national and non-national vehicle for personal use The following types of vehicle are applicable under certain Shariah concepts: No Type of Vehicle Shariah Concept 1 Car Tawarruq and Al-Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai` ( AITAB ) 2 Superbikes (250cc and above) Al-Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai` only 3 Motorcycle with Low-Powered Engine Capacity (Below 250cc) Tawarruq only 2 What is the Shariah concept applicable? TAWARRUQ This financing is under the Shariah principles of Murabahah (by adopting Tawarruq practices) where based on Wa'd (promise) from the customer, the Bank will purchase the commodity from a commodity trader and then sells the commodity to the customer based on the Murabahah sale price (cost of commodities with profit) on deferred payment basis The Bank then, as the customer's agent, will sell the commodity to a third party buyer on cash The cash collected from third party buyer will be deposited into dealer s account The commodities being used are the commodities permissible by Shariah available in Bursa Suq Al- Sila` AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) AITAB consists of two (2) main Shariah contracts which are Ijarah (rental) and Bai` (sale) Upon financing origination, Bank and customer will enter into Ijarah contract whereby the Bank will rent the vehicle to the customer with specified rental amount and period Customer shall pay a deposit (difference between selling price of the vehicle and Total Financing Amount) to the Bank treated as an Advance Rental and shall form part of the Hire Purchase Price as per Schedule Customer at the same time undertake to purchase the vehicle under the concept of Wa`d (promise) upon expiry of Ijarah, early settlement and/or occurrence of default by the customer Upon triggering any of the above events, transfer of the vehicle ownership from the Bank to the customer will take effect via execution of sale contract between both parties or delivery of notice to the customer Selling price payable by the customer to the Bank will be stated in the sale contract or the notice sent to the customer The selling price is equivalent to Settlement Sum as defined in item 7 of this disclosure sheet under AITAB category 3 What do I get from this product? 2 5 What other charges do I have to pay? TAWARRUQ No Type of Fee Fee Amount / Detail i Stamp Duty 05% of total financing as per Stamp Duty Act 1949 (Revised 1989) ii Wakalah Fee RM30 inclusive of GST AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) No Type of Fee Fee Amount / Detail i Stamp Duty Ijarah Agreement RM10 Guarantor Agreement (if applicable) RM10 OTHERS (Applicable to all) No Type of Fee Fee Amount / Detail i Issuance of letter to JPJ for change of vehicle engine no, interchange of vehicle registration no, duplicate registration card etc RM15 per document ii Issuance of letter to authority for transfer of vehicle to East Malaysia or vice versa RM15 per document Note: The fee amount is exclusive of Goods and Services Tax ( GST ) except for Wakalah Fee 6 What if I fail to fulfil my obligations? Compensation charge (Ta`widh) for late payment is as follows: During the financing tenure After expiry of financing tenure 1% per annum on the overdue instalment / rental amount Based on the prevailing daily overnight Islamic Interbank Money Market rate on the outstanding balance The Bank reserves the right to deduct / set-off customer s account balances (Savings, Investment and/or Share Membership Account) with the Bank as payment for the outstanding amount The Bank will notify customer seven (7) calendar days in advance The Bank also reserves the right to repossess the vehicle and take legal action on the customer with all the related costs be borne by the customer 7 What if I fully settle the financing before its maturity? Customer shall provide one (1) month prior notice for early settlement The Bank shall grant rebate (Ibra') on the deferred profits according to the applicable Shariah concept TAWARRUQ The amount of early settlement is as per the formula below: Early Settlement Amount = Selling Price Principal Paid Undisbursed Principal Ibra + [(COF) EPR) x Principal Disbursed] + Other Actual Costs Note: Ibra means deferred profit which has not been accounted as profit earned The difference between Cost of Fund ( COF ) and Effective Profit Rate ( EPR ) can only be claimed whenever the COF is higher than the EPR

3 AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) Customer shall pay the Settlement Sum which is referred to balance of outstanding or sum equivalent to the aggregate of: i) the balance of the originally payable under the AITAB Agreement; and ii) late payment charges, if any; and iii) other sums payable by the customer to the Bank Less the aggregate of: i) the amount paid by or on behalf of the customer; and ii) statutory rebate for terms charges, if any; and iii) cancellation of Takaful policy or statutory rebate for Takaful, if any 8 Do I need any Takaful coverage? You are adviced to subscribe for motor coverage from the appointed Bank s panel Takaful companies If customer prefers to subscribe for insurance coverage, the contribution/premium cost shall be borne by the customer 9 What are the major risks? Customer is responsible to ensure that the monthly instalment / rental are paid according to the agreement even when customer is facing financial problems (such as unemployed or illness) or upon pending Takaful claims 10 Do I need a guarantor or collateral? Customer would only be required to provide guarantor when the financing terms and conditions are not met 11 What should I do if there are changes of my personal information? The customer must contact us immediately if there are any changes to your personal information to ensure correspondence can be delivered in a timely manner Please contact the Call Center at or visit any branches to update your personal information 12 Where can I get assistance and redress? 5 HELAIAN PENDEDAHAN PRODUK Sila baca Helaian Pendedahan Produk ini sebelum anda membuat keputusan untuk melanggan produk Pembiayaan Kenderaan-i Pastikan anda juga membaca terma dan syarat bagi produk ini BANK RAKYAT PEMBIAYAAN KENDERAAN-i Tarikh: 1 Apakah yang perlu saya ketahui mengenai produk ini? Produk ini menawarkan kemudahan pembiayaan untuk pembelian kenderaan nasional dan bukan nasional bagi kegunaan persendirian Jenis-jenis kenderaan berikut tertakluk kepada konsep Shariah tertentu: Bil Jenis Kenderaan Konsep Shariah 1 Kereta Tawarruq dan Al-Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai` ( AITAB ) 2 Superbikes (250cc dan ke atas) Al-Ijarah Thumma Al-Bai` sahaja 3 Motosikal Berkuasa Rendah (Bawah 250cc) Tawarruq sahaja 2 Apakah konsep Syariah yang digunakan? TAWARRUQ Kemudahan pembiayaan ini adalah di bawah prinsip Syariah Murabahah (dengan menerima pakai amalan Tawarruq) di mana berdasarkan Wa`d (janji) daripada pelanggan, pihak Bank akan membeli komoditi daripada pembekal komoditi dan seterusnya menjual komoditi kepada pelanggan berdasarkan harga jualan Murabahah (harga kos komoditi beserta keuntungan) secara tangguh Pihak Bank kemudiannya, sebagai ejen pelanggan, akan menjual komoditi kepada pembeli pihak ketiga secara tunai Kutipan tunai daripada pembeli pihak ketiga ini akan dimasukkan ke dalam akaun pengedar kenderaan Jenis komoditi yang digunapakai adalah komoditi yang dibenarkan oleh Syariah yang terdapat di Bursa Suq Al-Sila` AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) AITAB terdiri daripada dua (2) kontrak Syariah utama iaitu Ijarah (sewaan) dan Bai` (jualbeli) Setelah pembiayaan diluluskan, pihak Bank dan pelanggan akan memeterai kontrak Ijarah di mana Bank akan menyewakan kenderaan kepada pelanggan pada amaun dan tempoh yang telah ditetapkan Pelanggan perlu menjelaskan sejumlah deposit (perbezaan di antara harga jualan kenderaan dan Jumlah Pembiayaan) kepada pihak Bank yang dianggap sebagai bayaran Sewaan Terdahulu terhadap sebahagian daripada Harga Sewa Beli yang dinyatakan di dalam Jadual Pada masa yang sama, pelanggan berjanji akan membeli kenderaan berasaskan konsep Wa`d (janji) ketika tamat tempoh sewaan, penyelesaian awal dan/atau berlakunya kemungkiran oleh pelanggan Sekiranya berlaku mana-mana situasi di atas, pindahan hakmilik kenderaan daripada Bank kepada pelanggan akan berkuatkuasa melalui pelaksanaan kontrak jualbeli di antara keduanya atau penghantaran notis kepada pelanggan Harga jualan yang perlu dibayar oleh peanggan kepada Bank akan dinyatakan di dalam kontrak jualbeli atau notis yang dihantar kepada pelanggan Harga jualan tersebut adalah bersamaan dengan Amaun Penyelesaian yang dinyatakan di dalam perkara 7 pada helaian pendedahan ini di bawah kategori AITAB 3 Apakah yang saya akan peroleh melalui produk ini? TAWARRUQ Bil Jenis Caj Amaun / Perincian Caj i Duti Setem 05% daripada jumlah pembiayaan sepertimana Akta Duti Setem 1949 (Pindaan 1989) ii Fi Wakalah RM30 termasuk GST AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) Bil Jenis Caj Amaun / Perincian Caj i Duti Setem Perjanjian Ijarah RM10 LAIN-LAIN (Terpakai untuk semua) Perjanjian Penjamin (jika berkenaan) RM10 Bil Jenis Caj Amaun / Perincian Caj i Pengeluaran surat kepada JPJ bagi perubahan no enjin kenderaan, pertukaran no pendaftaran kenderaan, kad pendaftaran pendua dsb RM15 setiap dokumen ii Pengeluaran surat kepada pihak berkuasa bagi pindahan kenderaan ke Malaysia Timur dan sebaliknya RM15 setiap dokumen Note: Amaun fi tidak termasuk Cukai Barangan dan Perkhidmatan ( CBP ) kecuali Fi Wakalah 6 Bagaimana jika saya gagal memenuhi tanggungjawab? Caj gantirugi (Ta`widh) ekoran bayaran lewat adalah seperti berikut: Ketika tempoh pembiayaan Selepas tamat tempoh pembiayaan 1% setahun ke atas bayaran ansuran / sewaan tertunggak Berdasarkan kadar semalaman semasa Pasaran Wang antara Bank Islam ke atas baki tertunggak Bank berhak menolak / mempelaras baki akaun pelanggan (Akaun Simpanan / Pelaburan / Saham Keanggotaan) dengan Bank sebagai bayaran kepada jumlah tunggakan Pihak Bank akan memaklumkan kepada pelanggan tujuh (7) hari sebelum pelaksanaan Bank juga berhak menarik balik kenderaan dan mengambil tindakan undang-undang ke atas pelanggan dengan segala kos ditanggung oleh pelanggan 7 Bagaimana jika saya membuat penjelasan penuh sebelum tarikh matang? Pelanggan perlu memberikan satu (1) bulan notis terdahulu untuk penyelesaian awal Pihak Bank perlu memberikan rebet (Ibra ) ke atas keuntungan tertangguh / belum terakru berdasarkan kepada konsep Syariah yang terlibat TAWARRUQ Jumlah penyelesaian awal adalah tertakluk kepada formula di bawah:

7 Jumlah Penjelasan Awal = Harga Jualan Prinsipal Telah Dibayar Baki Prinsipal Belum Dikeluarkan Ibra + [(Kos Dana) Kadar Keuntungan Efektif) x Prinsipal yang Telah Dikeluarkan] + Lain-Lain Kos Sebenar Nota: Ibra bermakna keuntungan tertangguh yang belum diambilkira sebagai keuntungan yang diperolehi Perbezaan antara Kos Dana dan Kadar Keuntungan Efektif hanya boleh dituntut apabila Kos Dana adalah lebih tinggi daripada Kadar Keuntungan Efektif AL-IJARAH THUMMA AL-BAI` ( AITAB ) Pelanggan perlu membayar Amaun Penyelesaian yang merujuk kepada baki tunggakan atau amaun yang bersamaan dengan: i) baki yang pada asalnya perlu dibayar di bawah Perjanjian AITAB; dan ii) caj lewat bayar, jika ada; dan iii) amaun-amaun lain yang perlu dibayar oleh pelanggan kepada Bank Dengan pengurangan berikut: i) amaun yang telah dibayar oleh atau bagi pihak pelanggan; dan ii) rebet berkanun bagi caj berjangka, jika ada; dan iii) pembatalan polisi Takaful atau rebet berkanun terhadap Takaful, jika ada 8 Adakah saya memerlukan perlindungan Takaful? Anda dinasihatkan untuk mengambil perlindungan motor daripada mana-mana syarikat Takaful yang merupakan panel Bank Jika pelanggan cenderung untuk mengambil perlindungan insurans, kos sumbangan/premium perlu ditanggung oleh pelanggan 9 Apakah risiko yang perlu saya tanggung? Pelanggan bertanggungjawab memastikan ansuran / sewaan bulanan dibayar sepertimana yang dinyatakan dalam perjanjian walaupun pelanggan menghadapi masalah kewangan (seperti kehilangan pekerjaan atau sakit) atau tuntutan Takaful masih belum selesai 10 Adakah saya memerlukan penjamin atau cagaran? Pelanggan hanya memerlukan penjamin sekiranya terma dan syarat pembiayaan tidak dipenuhi 11 Apakah yang perlu saya lakukan sekiranya berlaku perubahan pada maklumat peribadi?
