BOOKING CONDITIONS 1) PAYMENT Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by Simply Perigord sarl of the appropriate deposit and signed Booking Form.

3 BOOKING CONDITIONS 1) PAYMENT Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by Simply Perigord sarl of the appropriate deposit and signed Booking Form. At this point a binding contract will come into existence which will be governed by French law and which will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France. A Booking Confirmation/Account will be sent incorporating the cost of the accommodation, Breakage Deposit, Visa/Mastercard surcharge (if applicable) and the cost of any Additional Services required, less the initial deposit. The outstanding balance is payable to Simply Perigord sarl not less than 9 weeks prior to arrival at the house. If we do not receive the payment in full and on time we reserve the right to treat the holiday as cancelled by you and hence the deposit forfeited. The Booking Form details methods of payment. Late payments may attract a surcharge. Simply Perigord sarl reserves the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of your written confirmation. 2) PERSONAL & CANCELLATION INSURANCE We recommend that all our clients are covered by a Personal, Public Liability & Cancellation Insurance. N.B. You will be asked to supply details of this cover at the time of paying your Final Balance. 3) CANCELLATION If you wish to cancel your booking once a deposit or full balance has been paid we will require a letter from you signed by the signatory on the Booking Form. The cancellation will be effective from the date the letter arrives at our offices. In the event of a cancellation more than 9 weeks before arrival the hirer will not be held liable for the balance of the rental but the deposit is not refundable. Should such a cancellation occur less than 9 weeks before arrival Simply Perigord sarl will make every effort to relet the property in which event a refund of the final balance will be made less expenses and additional costs incurred. 4) AMENDMENTS BY YOU Should you wish to amend your booking once it has been confirmed we will do our best to facilitate your requests. However changes to your holiday property may be treated as a cancellation by you and the cancellation charges of condition 3 applied. Other amendments can be made, subject to a 25 administration fee. 5) ALTERATIONS & CANCELLATIONS BY US It is very unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements. However if for any reason, beyond our control, we are unable to provide the property booked we reserve the right to transfer you to a similar property. If this is not possible or you do not wish to be transferred we will cancel the booking and refund all monies paid. 6) BREAKAGE DEPOSIT A refundable Breakage Deposit, as specified in the Additional Information section of the individual property details, will be included in the Booking Confirmation/Account which is payable not less than 9 weeks before your arrival date. If there are any breakages, cleaning or outstanding bills Simply Perigord sarl reserves the right, on behalf of the owners, to deduct these costs from the Breakage Deposit. The hirer should replace any small breakages prior to departure. In addition, if there are any charges or costs in excess of the Breakage Deposit then the hirer will reimburse Simply Perigord sarl accordingly. The Breakage Deposit will be refunded after the end of your holiday except in the case of houses with telephones. Once the telephone bill is received, Simply Perigord sarl will send you the relevant extract together with any remaining Breakage Deposit. 7) AMENITIES The use of the accommodation and amenities, where offered, such as swimming pools etc., is entirely at the user s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a user or visitor, or loss or damage to the user or visitor s belongings. 8) BELONGINGS Personal belongings and baggage are at the hirer s risk at all times. 9) MOTOR CARS No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents. 10) PETS Several of our property owners accept pets on the understanding that they are well behaved and WILL NOT be allowed in the pool. However many owners do not accept pets and it is therefore VERY important that you confirm with us AT THE TIME OF BOOKING whether pets are accepted in the house of your choice. Any extra cleaning required due to the presence of pets will be charged at our usual rate of 25 per hour. 11) HIRER S RESPONSIBILITY THE HIRER IS RESPONSIBLE UNDER FRENCH LAW FOR THE PROPERTY AND ITS CONTENTS DURING THE HOLIDAY. On arrival, if any breakages are found (including parasols, sunloungers & garden furniture) these must be notified to Simply Périgord. Failure to do so may result in the hirer being charged for these breakages. You should make sure that your Personal & Cancellation Insurance offers a high degree of personal and public liability. We request that you leave the property in a good state of cleanliness. Failure to do so will result in a supplementary cleaning charge which will also apply if the hirer does not dispose of all rubbish (including bottles) on departure. We must advise you that cleaning costs in France are high & therefore any additional cleaning will be charged for at a rate of 25 per hour. Pools: All pools are fitted with a system of security. It is the hirer s responsibility to ensure that the security system installed is activated during the holiday, including on departure day from the property. As always, child surveillance remains the responsibility of parents. 12) PARTY SIZE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES may more than the maximum number of people, as stipulated in the brochure and on our website, occupy a property without written permission from Simply Perigord sarl. If we are made aware that the number of people occupying the property exceeds that stated in the brochure and on our website then we reserve the right to ask the entire group to leave the property immediately with no refund of the rental sum paid. The parking of caravans, camper vans or the erection of tents for accommodation is NOT permitted at any of our properties. 13) BROCHURE Simply Perigord aims to ensure that the contents of the brochure, and all our other promotional material, is accurate. There may be small differences between the actual property and services and its description as property owners are continually seeking to improve houses and facilities. Simply Perigord sarl cannot accept responsibility for any inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information about any property or its facilities. 14) WILDLIFE, PESTS & DISTURBANCES Mice, ants and other insects or animals are inevitably present in the countryside around the houses and sometimes live in inaccessible spaces such as the eaves or attic. Simply Perigord sarl cannot be held responsible for the appearance of this type of problem during your stay although we will try to take appropriate action as soon as we have been advised if there is a serious problem. Occasionally the problem cannot be easily or completely eradicated and cannot be expected to be so. Simply Perigord sarl cannot be held responsible for noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the holiday accommodation and which is beyond our control. 15) MAID SERVICE Maid service is provided in certain houses where indicated except on French public holidays. 16) DISABILITIES In order for us to help you choose a suitable property it is imperative that we be informed of any disabilities of people in your group. If we are not aware in advance of disabilities we cannot be held responsible if a property does not suit your needs. 17) HEATING SUPPLEMENT Heating should not be required in the Mid and High Seasons but should it be asked for there will be a supplementary per day charge. 18) COMPLAINTS We have no wish to have dissatisfied customers and consider it part of the contract to be given the opportunity to put right any complaints you may have. In the unlikely event that you wish to complain please contact our office in Le Bugue where every effort will be made to settle any grievance straight away. If you remain unhappy with the solutions provided please advise us again in writing within 14 days of the end of the holiday. If we are not contacted within 24 hours of a problem occurring, or if you independently leave the property or move to other accommodation without prior agreement, all rights to compensation or repayment will be lost. All our properties are checked regularly throughout the year and the brochure descriptions are made in good faith. However we cannot be held responsible for any alterations made by the owners without our knowledge. Neither do we accept responsibility for the breakdown of supplies of gas, water or electricity, swimming pool filtration systems, domestic equipment or internet access/satellite channels. Internet access is for occasional holiday use, not for constant/commercial use. We will make every effort to solve problems of this nature immediately we are notified. Liability is limited to the amount paid by the hirer for accommodation.

4 SIMPLY PERIGORD SERVICES Our aim is to make your holiday a memorable one so please ask if there are special arrangements with which we can help or advise in advance of your holiday. If you need something additional to the services listed below don t hesitate to ask - please call the office for details of our secretariat service. Final Day Cleaning & Maid Service Some of our properties have a certain amount of maid service included in the rental price. Maid service in any of our properties is possible, as is a comprehensive Final Day Cleaning Service. Please ask for details. Cot & Highchair Hire Highchairs are available for hire at a cost of 25 per week. Wooden cots are available at 30 per week including construction ; travel cots are available at 25 per week. Cot hire includes baby linen and towel. Our supply is limited so please let us know your requirements as soon as possible. Linen Hire We have a limited supply of linen available (bedlinen, bath & hand towels, and tea towels) at 25 per person. Chef Services, Cookery Lessons Our network of chefs continues to grow enabling delicious meals either to be delivered to your rental property or prepared, cooked & served at home. Car & Bicycle Hire We are able to organise car hire services from our local Bergerac airport or railway station. Bikes (including safety helmets & child seats) may be collected locally or delivered to your rental property. TV, DVD, Video, Fax Hire We can arrange for hire of the above equipment on a weekly basis. Please note that the absence of a TV in a property may mean that it is not possible to receive a signal at that location. ABOUT OUR HOUSES THE QUALITY OF OUR HOUSES We feel that the quality of our houses is considerably above the average available. We have tried very hard to choose those that are well situated, well furnished and offer good value for money. We know all our properties intimately and if you have any questions about them please do not hesitate to ask. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS Our clientele is truly international and we have holidaymakers arriving from all over the world. You are therefore free to make your own travel arrangements and bookings for the route, date and time of your choice. Your local travel agent will be more than pleased to help you and will make it a very simple process indeed. The nearest local and international airports are marked on our website. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Your property will be ready for you to take over between 4pm & 6pm on the first day of your holiday. If you have any problems en route and will be unable to arrive before 6pm it is very important that you telephone our office before this time so that alternative arrangements can be made. We can accommodate a Sunday arrival but there may be a 'call out charge' of 25. You must vacate your property BY 10am AT THE LATEST on the day of departure in order that it may be prepared for incoming guests. BREAKAGE & CLEANING DEPOSIT This deposit is noted on the Additional Information section for each property and is held by us on behalf of the owner to cover any breakages, damage and/or extra cleaning necessary. We do ask our clients to leave the property clean. If a house requires extra cleaning Simply Périgord reserves the right on behalf of the owner to deduct a suitable amount from the Breakage Deposit. We are able to organise a Final Day Cleaning service if you prefer not to clean yourself on departure day. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT All our properties meet the following standards of equipment and service. There will be a gas or electric cooker (or oven and hob), refrigerator, adequate cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses and all other necessary household equipment for holiday use and suitable for the maximum number the house accommodates. A washing machine, ironing board and iron are always provided. Mains Electricity is always provided (220/230 volts), as is running water. SWIMMING POOLS Most of our properties have pools. These are not normally heated and will not be available in the Low Season. The use of swimming pools, which are unsupervised, is entirely at your own risk. All of the pools featured in this brochure have security systems. However, it remains imperative that parents continue to ensure young children are supervised at all times. LINEN All the houses have blankets or duvets and pillows but, unless otherwise stated, no bedlinen or towels for bathroom or kitchen. Some properties have linen included in the rental price, in which case it will be detailed in the property description. Simply Périgord also has a limited supply of linen available for hire at a cost of 25 per person. Where linen is included in the hire of your property this DOES NOT include any changeover of linen during your stay. If extra linen is required the normal cost of 25 per person applies. When ordering linen please indicate on the Booking Form single or double, where there is a choice of beds. TELEVISIONS & SATELLITES Televisions described as Satellite TV on our website only offer UK free to air channels except where otherwise stated. Those described as «Television» offer French channels only. Satellite TV does not mean Sky TV. TELEPHONES / INTERNET Most of our properties have telephones (please see the individual details). They will be designated either Restricted or Detailed. Restricted means that the telephone will receive incoming calls worldwide but can only be used to make calls in the local area. Detailed means that there is no restriction placed on the telephone at all and that the owners' bills are itemised. In these cases, when the bill is received (French telephone bills are issued every two months), a copy of the relevant section of the bill will be sent to you and the cost of calls deducted from your breakage deposit, the balance of which will be refunded to you at the same time. Internet access is not designed for constant/commercial use. Thick stone walls mean WiFi signal may be weak. HOUSE BOOKS In each of our properties we leave a House Book giving a whole host of useful information about the house and this beautiful region. Please take a few minutes to read this when you arrive. If you need any more information during your stay you are welcome to call the office at any time.

The numbers are:- Tel: +33 (0) Fax: +33 (0) simply@simply-perigord.com TO CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING We will hold the provisional booking for 7 working days enabling us to receive from you the completed Booking Form and the Initial Payment. Your booking will then be confirmed and a Statement of Account sent to you by post. THE FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT HOW TO PAY VISA OR MASTERCARD We can accept payment by either VISA or MASTERCARD for both the Initial Payment & the Balance for which there will be a 1% surcharge. Please complete the relevant section on the Booking Form, including details of the 3 digit security code. BANK TO BANK TRANSFER We will accept payment by BANK to BANK transfer in EUROS ONLY. Please contact us for our full bank details. Please request that Bank Charges for the transfer are for your account. Any charges incured by us for the transfer will be added to your final balance. CHEQUES We will accept cheques in EUROS only. Please note that clearing of Non French Euro cheques incurs a bank charge which will be added to your final account. *A reminder letter will be sent just before the Balance is due* The Balance and the Breakage Deposit are due not less than 9 weeks before your holiday. Please therefore leave enough time for postage. If the booking is made less than 9 weeks prior to your holiday then the full amount is payable on booking. HOLIDAY DETAILS Upon receipt of the Balance we will send you full arrival information which will include the location of the keys and details of how to reach your property. Should you require, in advance, any information about the area please do not hesitate to contact us. Heating should not be required in the Mid & High Seasons but should it be asked for there will be a supplementary per day charge. In Low Season heating is included for some properties (see Additional Information section in the description). For other properties available in Low Season there will be a charge for heating which can take the form of reading the electricity meter or, in the case of gas, fuel-oil or wood, by a set weekly charge.
