7 2019 Kitimat Mini Mud Games Rules Registration: All participants must be 5-12 years to participate. The Mini Mud Games is a rain or shine event that will be held in any and all weather conditions. However, if weather conditions make the course unsafe, or affect our medical and safety teams ability to help participants, this will be evaluated independently. Participants need to be able to at least walk the indicated course distance comfortably without compromising their health. All participants (parents/guardians/chaperones) must sign a waiver form in order for their child to participate in the event. Start of Event: First start time is at 6:00 pm. Participants/families will be set off at 5 minute intervals. Should you wish to repeat the course, please advise at the registration table. You do not have to pay a second registration fee. Time keeping will not be recorded by the organizers. There is no winning time or place in this event. What to Wear: You may dress to express yourself or family. Football boots with molded studs are acceptable, but running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted. 7. You may make use of the cold showers to clean off and freshen up after the course. Please bring a towel. 8. A change of dry (and warm) clothing is highly recommended. Obstacles: Obstacles include climbing through, over and under natural and man-made structures, wading through mud and covering a trail course. Only registered participants may participate in the event or attempt any obstacle. Participants cannot intentionally hinder the progress of any other participant for any reason. The organizers encourage you to assist other participants over the course. If a participant is unable to complete an obstacle, they may go around it. 5. The event officials reserve the right to close any obstacles for any length of time for any reason. 6. Participants must stay on the marked course, unless directed otherwise by the event officials. 7. Medical officials may require any participant to submit to a medical check at any time during the event. 8. PLEASE NOTE - Pictures and drone footage will be taken during the event!!
