2 The confluence and complexities of new information technology, ongoing healthcare transformation initiatives and mounting pressures for value based care continue to place predictive modeling topics at the forefront of healthcare for the remainder of this decade. In this environment, innovative research and applications involving predictive analytics are essential for healthcare organizations as they move forward. The Ninth Annual Predictive Modeling Web Summit features a 90 minute live webinar that starts with approaches in positioning a healthcare organization for effective predictive analytics, and then involves two case studies both associated with different aspects of cancer care that are instructive in how risk adjustment and predictive analytics initiatives and research can be applied to key facets in the delivery of healthcare in this transformative and value based era. Soyal Momin, MS, MBA, Vice President of Analytics at Presbyterian Healthcare Services discusses a healthcare organization's journey in building a structure for effective predictive analytics. His presentation will cover the key objectives their initiatives address; how they have been setting the foundation for data and analytics transformation; their lessons learned across governance, value discovery, information management, EDW, analytics organization, and change management; their progress towards value realization and how they are setting expectations for the future. Isaac Wagner, Director of Analytics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will discuss their initiatives in predicting patient emergencies. Data scientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering have analyzed a massive body of cancer treatment data, helping to determine which patients are at high risk for specific emergencies, such as fever, pain or dehydration. By using knowledge design interventions, the organization helps their clinicians better manage patient populations and provide a better treatment experience. Ritwick Panicker, MD, FACP, Senior Medical Director with New Century Health shares how cancer care quality and cost management possesses the perfect storm of challenges for predictability: high variability, high cost, and low volume, and how New Century Health has employed clinical data in two ways to reduce chemotherapy-associated hospitalizations and deliver value-based care: risk stratification modeling and predictive analytics. The event also includes three on-demand sessions, with expert faculty exploring: (A) Risk Adjustment Techniques for Improving Value-Based Payments; (B) Consumer Lifestyle and Behavioral Analytics: Leveraging Supplemental Data for Risk Intervention and More; and (C) Best Practices for Mining Big Data: Legal, Regulatory and Ethical Considerations. Position your organization for 2017 and beyond in the healthcare predictive analytics landscape. Join us for the Ninth Annual Predictive Modeling Web Summit on Friday June 23rd 2017, and participate in the live ninety-minute national webinar, additional on-demand faculty sessions, predictive modeling e-poll and more, featuring national experts providing key insights, innovative approaches and strategies, actionable intelligence and more on these critical topics.
