Worked with S&P to reduce our company s capital charge that resulted from their new mortgage backed security interest rate risk model. Assistant Vice President and Corporate Actuary Expanded corporate projections to include five-year format. Also presented Equitable Life and USG in a consistent format. Expanded cash flow testing to include quarterly, as well as annual, analyses. Combined the interest crediting process and report formats for Equitable Life and USG. Coordinated with sales and marketing and senior management to improve interest rate setting procedures. Assisted in developing the methodology for the FAS 107 Fair Value Disclosure of assets and liabilities. Expanded cash flow testing models to include new business and surplus. Developed presentations concerning this information for senior management, the board of directors, rating agencies, as well as for the stock offering due diligence meetings.
