13 UPDATE- CDBG-DR HUD has released Federal Register Notice for $10.3 B in CDBG-DR funds For unmet needs in FL, TX, and PR In addition to 10 Florida Counties in prior notice, St. Lucie County, Osceola, Hillsborough and Palm Beach Counties plus more zip codes are included in Most Impacted and Distressed and are eligible for 80% setaside for MID. HUD expanded the public review and comment period increased to 30 days (up from 14). This has been a key priority for the DHRC to ensure that survivors have the opportunity to weigh in on long-term recovery plans that will shape their communities.

14 UPDATE- CDBG-DR HUD changed the required affordability period for multifamily housing from 20 years to a tiered amount: 15 years for rehab or reconstruction of multifamily rental housing with eight or more units. 20 years for new construction of multifamily rental projects with five or more units.
