5 JRC Forum on Access to Fission Infrastructures on 29/01/2015 (1) how can the European research infrastructure system effectively support the European research agenda, (2) the best use of resources at European and national level and (3) how to ensure a long term sustainability of such access to infrastructure schemes. A session also addressed mechanisms linked to the possible creation of a EU network to coordinate and promote open access to nuclear research infrastructure within the EU. The outcomes of the Forum will be the basis for further actions and decisions at EU level.
