2 INTRODUCTION e-ambiz is your Online Banking facility that keeps you up to date on your company s account status. It also gives you the control you need to manage your day-to-day transactions around the clock. No matter where you are, or what time of day or night, e-ambiz allows you to: Check balances and account activity Make payments via GIRO, RENTAS, SWIFT or IFT Make transfers to AmBank accounts Create payment template for ready transaction To ensure the highest protection is available to you, every user will be provided with a token device. The user can then login to e-ambiz with their Login ID and the dynamic Response generated by the token device. This makes passwords random and difficult to decipher. Page 1 from 36

3 ABOUT THE TOKEN Security & technology overview Token Based Users are authenticated using a Two-Factor Authentication token which is activated by a Personal Identification Number (PIN), in addition to your Login ID. Each time you enter your Login ID, a Challenge will be provided. A Response to the Challenge has to be generated from a VASCO token device that is assigned to your Login ID. The Challenge will be refreshed every 50 seconds to prevent fraudulent use of expired Response. Battery life Manufacturing warranty of 3 years. 4 TOKEN ACTIVATION Kindly activate your token by following below steps: Token s display screen This is how your token looks like. Steps shown in this guide shall be based on this token layout. Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Press to switch off your token. Press 1 to start the Challenge Response module. NEW PIN will appear on screen. Enter your preferred 6-digit PIN and press OK. If BAD PIN 1 appears on screen or NEW PIN is not showing, your token might have been activated /changed PIN before, immediately contact AmBank s Contact Centre at Re-enter your preferred 6-digit PIN and press OK to activate the token. Your PIN has been successfully configured when PIN CONF appears on screen.

5 STEPS TO LOG IN TO e-ambiz To log in to e-ambiz, you may follow below steps: Page 4 from 36 1 Enter URL e-ambiz 2 Select e-ambiz to proceed. If this page doesn't appear, please turn off Pop-up Blocker. Go to Internet Explorer Menu Bar and click Tools. Then go to Pop-up Blocker and click Turn off Pop-up Blocker. TIPS! 6 STEPS TO LOG IN TO e-ambiz Below steps continued from the previous page: Page 5 from 36 3 Enter your login ID at the Login ID field. Your Login ID is written behind the token TIPS! Do not press ENTER or TAB at this point. Turn on your token by pressing the ON button for 2 seconds until SELECT appears on Screen Press 1 to start the Challenge Response module. Enter your 6-digit PIN and press OK. 8 dashes will appear on screen Click at the Response field. Challenge Number will be displayed. TIPS! Challenge Number will automatically refresh after 50 seconds. Failure to input a response after 50 seconds will be considered as invalid login. 3 times invalid response will cause the Login ID will be blocked and you will need to call our helpdesk.

7 STEPS TO LOG IN TO e-ambiz Below steps continued from the previous page: Page 6 from Enter the 8-digit Challenge number displayed on AmBank s Corporate Internet Banking login page into the token and press OK.. Your token will display the 8-digit Response Code. Key-in the generated Response Code from the Token into Response field on e-ambiz login screen and click on Login button to login to e-ambiz.

Type Select Account Balance from the dropdown field. 2 4 Select the Account Number that you wish to view Click Current Account.

Ledger Balance includes Total Local Cheque Float. It does not include overdraft facilities approved by AmBank and other floats. Ledger Balance = Current Balance + Total Local Float 2 Current Balance: Your company s own funds. It does not include overdraft facilities approved by AmBank, Local Cheques ( Total Local Float ) and Outstation Cheques ( Total Other Float ) that have not been cleared. 3 Available Balance: Available funds that can be used immediately, including available overdraft facilities approved by AmBank. 4 Total Overdraft: Approved overdraft facilities provided by AmBank. This is not applicable if your company did not apply for overdraft facilities. 5 Utilised Overdraft: Overdraft facilities that have been used up to statement date. 6 Available Overdraft: Balance of un-utilised overdraft approved by AmBank. 7 LC Float 1: Local Cheques deposited to be cleared in ONE calendar day. Once the Local Cheque is cleared, the funds will be available under the Available Balance 8 LC Float 2: Local Cheques deposited to be cleared in TWO calendar days. 9 LC Float 3: Local Cheques deposited to be cleared in THREE calendar days. 10 LC Float > 3: Local Cheques deposited to be cleared after THREE calendar days. 11 Total LC Floats: Total Local Cheques deposited. Total LC Float = LC Float 1 + LC Float 2 + LC Float 3 + LC Float > 3 12 Other Float 1: Outstation Cheques, Money Order and Postal Order deposited to be cleared in ONE calendar day. Once the cheque is cleared, the funds will be available under the Available Balance. 13 Other Float 2: Outstation Cheques, Money Order and Postal Order deposited to be cleared in TWO calendar days. 14 Other Float 3: Outstation Cheques, Money Order and Postal Order deposited to be cleared in THREE calendar days. 15 Other Float > 3: Outstation Cheques, Money Order and Postal Order deposited to be cleared after THREE calendar days. 16 Total Other Float: Total of Outstation Cheques, Money Orders and Postal Orders deposited. Total OC Float = OC Float 1 + OC Float 2 + OC Float 3 + OC Float > 3

Select the Account Number. 2 Click Current Account.

13 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) If you are assigned with MAKER role, you will receive the following from your CSA (Customer Security Administrator) : Your e-ambiz Login ID Your Token Device Your Token s Personal Identification Number (PIN) Maker is able to make the payment via 1. Payment Initiation 2. For your reference, below would be the payment mode available in e-ambiz : Definition RENTAS Transfer to other bank within Malaysia GIRO Transfer to other bank within Malaysia Internal Fund Transfer (IFT) PROPAY_IFT Transfer to a MYR account within AmBank PROPAY_IFTFCY Transfer to a FCY account within AmBank SWIFT (TT) Transfer to other bank in foreign currency Min amount MYR 10,000 Any amount Any amount Any amount Any amount Max amount MYR 500million MYR 1,000,000 Any amount Any amount Any amount Cut-Off time 3pm* 5pm* 5pm* 5pm* 3.30pm* Crediting day Same day Same day Same day Same day Depends on beneficiary bank TIPS! Crediting day will be on the next working day if: 1. The instruction date falls on non-business days (Saturday, Sunday and Federal Territory Public Holidays). 2. Debit Account No. 3. Payment amount 4. Beneficiary details (Name, Account Number, ID No, ) 5. Bal. of Payment 6. Beneficiary Bank Name (not applicable to IFT) 7. Payment details TIPS! For Interbank GIRO (IBG) Bene. ID Type is an optional field. If verification on NRIC, Business Registration or Passport Number is required, select the Bene. ID Type then, enter the Identification No.

16 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) Page 15 from 36 Payment by Foreign Currency to anyone within Ambank For Foreign currency payment to Ambank accounts, you may use payment mode as following: PROPAY_IFTFCY You may follow the below steps to initiate payment in foreign currency : 1 Select Initiate. 2 Select Payment mode 3 Select Payment mode. Category.

17 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) Page 16 from 36 After choose Payment Mode, You may follow the below steps to complete General Details and Beneficiary Details: 4 Select or input Ordering Party A A Select or input Account Number. 8 Select conversion type (Contract/ Counter/ Spot) and input details 6 Select payment currency. 7 Key in payment amount 9 Key in the Beneficiary Details i.e. Name, Account Number. NOTE! Beneficiary Name cannot exceed 35 characters. Please key in continuation of the name in the Address column if beneficiary name consists more than 35 characters, as example: XYZ COMPANY in the Name column and SDN BHD in the Address column.

For Foreign currency payment to other than Ambank accounts, you may use payment mode as following: PROPAY_SWIFT You may follow the below steps to initiate payment in foreign currency : 1 Select Initiate. 2 Select Payment mode 3 Select Payment mode. Category.

20 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) Page 19 from 36 After choose Payment Mode, You may follow the below steps to complete General Details and Beneficiary Details: 4 Select or input Ordering Party A A Select Account Number and Payment Currency 6 Key in payment amount 7 Select conversion type: Counter AmBank over-the-counter rate. Contract Pre-agreed exchange rate with AmBank for a certain period of time in the future. (Please key in Contract No. & Conversion Rate) Spot Pre-agreed exchange rate with AmBank for settlement within 2 business days. (Please key in Dealer Reference No. & Conversion Rate) 8 Key in the Beneficiary Details i.e. Name, Account Number. IMPORTANT NOTE! Incomplete Beneficiary Name will hinder transaction processing. Please key in continuation of the name in the Address column if beneficiary name consists more than 35 characters, as example: XYZ COMPANY in the Name column and SDN BHD in the Address column.

21 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) Below steps continued from the previous page: Page 20 from 36 9 Select residency type 10 Input or select Purpose Code Fill in Reason of Payment Input or select Bank SWIFT Code (Details in gray font will be populated automatically after Swift Code has been selected) Conditional fields: FEA Approval ID: Pre-approved ID provided by Bank Negara. Ultimate Beneficiary Name/Country: Actual Non-resident beneficiary who will receive the fund (e.g. the beneficiary needs an intermediary bank with SWIFT Code to transfer the fund). Admin Code: Required for ANY AMOUNT if transaction is in foreign currency or from External Account (either remitter/beneficiary is a Non-resident with MYR/Foreign Currency Account). Broad Purpose Code: Required for any payment made between Resident to Resident in foreign currency OR Non-resident to Non-resident in MYR/Foreign Currency. Worker Remittances: Refers to remittances abroad made by a foreign worker OR a Resident on behalf of a foreign worker OR a Malaysian working abroad repatriated money back to Malaysia in foreign currency, for a single transaction value of Ringgit equivalent RM10,001 and below.

TEST Key in Biller Code from your receipt 3 Key in payment amount 6 Tick I hereby agree to the Terms & Conditions 5 Key in Ref-1 from your receipt 7 Click Add to List

24 PAYMENT INITIATION (MAKER ROLE) Below steps continued from the previous page: 9 Click Save button. Page 23 from Click OK button. 8 Added transaction will appear after clicking Add to List. To add more payments, repeat Step 1 to Step 6 & then click Add to List again. 10

25 PAYMENT TEMPLATE (MAKER ROLE) 1. PAYMENT TEMPLATE You are able to initiate payment through template for repetitive and homogeneous transactions to the same party. You may follow the below steps when creating payment template with MAKER role. Page 24 from 36 1 Click on the PI Template Enquiry menu and then Add 2 Select your payment mode. 6 Click Save button. 3 Key in Template Code (max 16 char.) 4 Select Access Type 5 Key in All details 7 Click OK button.

26 PAYMENT TEMPLATE (MAKER ROLE) Page 25 from 36 After saving the payment template, you are able to use the template to initiate the payment. You may follow the steps below: 1 4 Click on the Payment Initiation menu and then Initiate. Click Save button. 2 Choose a template code. 3 All saved details will pop out. 5 Click OK button.

27 PAYMENT INITIATION (AUTHORISER ROLE) You may use few methods when authorising payment with AUTHORISER role. 1. Authorisation Listing Download 2. Authorisation by Details 3. Authorisation by Summary a) Authorise all b) Authorise only selected transaction(s) Page 26 from 36 As an AUTHORISER, you will be able to view number of transactions which is not yet authorised from the landing / home page. You may follow the steps below: 1 Click on the Payment Initiation and then Authorise menu button. (Please Refer Step 1 in Authorisation by Details.) 2 Click on the -Download Listing- dropdown menu. Select the file format you wish to download. 3 Click Submit button to proceed. (Please Refer Step 1 in Authorisation by Details.) Click on the dropdown box and select Authorise All. Click Submit button to proceed. 34 TRANSACTION ENQUIRY TRANSACTION ENQUIRY Transaction enquiry screen provides you details of transactions which has been initiated online. You may track the status of your transaction(s) and the personnel that involved in performing the transaction(s).
