4 1 INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing UOB Kay Hian Hong Kong trading system, which offers you a hassle-free online trading experience with its reliable features and tools to assist you in capitalising market opportunities. Giving you 24 hours access to HKEX from the comfort of your home or overseas, you can also access our extensive research publications at your fingertips. 6 3 LOGIN To log into the platform, click on the login button on the top left hand corner of our homepage. You will be directed to the login page as shown below. For security purposes, you will be prompted to change your password upon your first login. The password is case sensitive. It must be alphanumeric and between 6 to 12 characters. 6

Please note that customisable pages are only available to Internet Explorer users. 4.1 Add Customised Page You have the ability to create up to 3 customised pages with all the applications and features to suit your trading needs. 1 Click on the Add Page icon located on the top right hand corner of the page. It will prompt an Add Page window. 1 2 Click Add after you have entered the Page Description and selected the page format. 7

4.2 Add Pagelets to Customised Page After you have created your customised page, you can add features to your page. These features are called pagelets.

Click and hold the pagelet you wish to add, then drag the pagelet onto the main page. 1 2 4.

Click and hold the pagelet you wish to add, then drag the pagelet onto the main page Save Customised Page Click on the Save Page icon after making any changes to your new customised page. 4.4 Edit Customised Page Click on the Customise Page icon to make changes to your customised page settings. This will prompt a popup window. You can change the page and/or the column settings. 8

Click on the first icon at the top right corner of the pagelet you wish to edit. Click on the type of text you want to change. You can customise the font colour as well as the background colour. 9

11 5 PRICES PAGELETS 5.1 Top 20 Apart from the Teletext screen, you can obtain stock data by adding the Top 20 pagelet to your customised page. Alphabetical listing of stocks View the Top 20 Volume, Top Gainer, Top Loser, Top % Gainer & Top % Loser Search for the stock by entering the first few characters of the stock 5.2 Watchlist Our Watchlist pagelet provides a quick retrieval on quotes for your favourite stocks. You can create up to 5 Watchlists (maximum 30 stocks on each watchlist). Select the Watchlist from the dropdown menu. 11

12 5.3 Edit Watchlist To edit your watchlist, click on Edit beside the Watchlist dropdown menu. From the Edit Watchlist Page below, you will be able to customise the watchlist name as well as add and delete stocks in the watchlist. Do remember to click on Save to save the settings. 12

13 6 TELETEXT 6.1 Teletext The Teletext page allows you to obtain stock information such as price, market depth and intraday chart Time & Sales Market Depth Broker Queue You can also place orders and access market news in the Teletext page. 13

14 6.2 Advanced Search To search for the stock using the Advanced Search function. Enter the first few characters of the stock A list of results matching your search criteria will be listed. 14

15 7 WARRANTS The Warrants page allows you to view the Top 20 warrants by gains, losses, turnover and volume. Search for the warrant by entering the first few characters of the warrant. 15

8 TRADE You may submit an order anytime of the day. Orders submitted during trading hours will be sent to the exchanges on queue for order execution. You may place overnight orders from 4.

You can either key in your order in the Teletext page, go to the Place Order page under the Trade tab or click on the stock name in a price pagelet. The maximum quantity is 3,000 lots. For orders of more than 3,000 lots, you can split your order into several orders of smaller quantity. However, please enter the total number of shares, and not lots, in this field. Orders that are not done by end of the trading day will expire automatically. They will NOT be carried forward to the next trading day. 16

9 ORDER BOOK Keep track of your orders with our Order Book page under the Trade tab. View your orders placed for the day, up to 3 days ago and also a history of all your trades done.

You can also withdraw up to 10 orders simultaneously with our Quick Withdrawal function. Please note that partially filled orders will be displayed under Filled during trading hours. However, after partially filled orders are amended, they will be filtered to Pending. After trading hours, all partially filled orders, whether cancelled or expired, will appear under Filled. Nonetheless, all orders will appear under All. 9.1 Check Order Status The descriptions for the status field can be found in Status Legend. 17

18 You can click on Details buttons to view additional details of each order. 9.2 Amend Orders Click on the Amend button to amend your order. The amendment screen will appear. Note: Prices can be amended upwards or downwards. Quantity can only be amended downwards. 18

Please note that order amendments and withdrawals can only be done for shares that have not yet been filled. If the order was partially filled, only the unfilled quantity can be amended or withdrawn. 19

10 STOCK ALERT 10.1 Add Stock Alert To create a stock alert, go to the Stock Alert page under the Trade tab. 10.2 Edit/Delete Stock Alert The Alert List shows stock alerts that you have created and allows you to edit and delete the stock alerts.

23 12 USER ID AND PASSWORD You will be able to change your user ID and password for logging in under User ID and Password. It is advisable that you change your password periodically. The password must be alphanumeric and between 6 and 12 characters. Do note that it is case sensitive. For security reasons, you will be prompted to change your password every 300 days. (Clients will not be able to reuse any of their last three passwords) 23
