We are here Thank you! for you now, as we have been in the past and will be in the years ahead. 4/19 Employee Spotlight Maria Pia Munoz A 2012 UConn graduate with a degree in Psychology, Maria Pia Munoz is currently working towards her Master s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. Known to her friends by her middle name, Pia was born in Lima, Peru. Some nine years ago, her family relocated to West Hartford, where she graduated from Conard High School in Just a year after graduation, she joined the staff at Franklin Trust. Initially a teller, Pia now works at the front desk at our Main Office, where she answers the phone, opens new accounts, and provides outstanding service to our member-owners. What does she enjoy doing when not at work? I really LOVE to travel, says Pia, her eyes lighting up. Europe, Peru, Canada, and a host of states in the U.S. - including Washington - are some of the places she has visited. I also like to walk my dog, she adds of her daily strolls with a friendly dachshund named Lukas. What does Pia like best about being at Franklin Trust? The people I work with, she says.
