2 Tender inviting Applications for Appointment of Consultant for obtaining Water, Electricity connection & Revalidation of building plan for construction of 48 nos. flats at K K Nagar, Chennai, Tamilnadu "Scope Of Work" IDBI Bank Limited, IMD Department, 115, Anna Salai, Saidapet Chennai - 15

3 SCOPE OF WORKS The appointed architect / civil engineering firm shall be liable to perform the following duties / jobs under the scope of works in respect of the proposed re-validation of Building Plan - i) Preparation of detailed building plans & layouts plans with the required sets as per the ii) iii) requirement of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) for getting revalidation. The plans should be as per the building plans already approved by CMDA for its set back position but with the open to sky positions as shown by CPWD in its working drawings. Compiling the details of documents that are required to be submitted to the planning permission authorities for getting the revalidation and furnishing the details to the Bank for arranging for the documents. To Liaison with the authorities of CMDA, Chennai Corporation, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, TNEB, Metro Water and such other local bodies for getting the revalidation of the building plans approved. Resubmitting the building plans as per requirements to CMDA, in case CMDA seeks for any modification in the plans. Submission of the details to Chennai Corporation and other local bodies along with necessary documents, etc. and obtaining their approval for the building plans revalidated by CMDA. The scrutiny fees or any other charges that need to be paid to CMDA or Corporation of Chennai or local authorities will be reimbursed by IDBI Bank on submission of the demand note issued by CMDA or local authorities. iv) Obtaining the demand notes from CMDA / Corporation of Chennai / local statutory / development bodies in favor of the Bank in respect of payments to be made by the Bank towards scrutiny fee, development charges, security deposit, etc. v) Obtaining the revalidation of the building permit from Chennai Corporation for revalidated plans. vi) vii) Obtaining Completion Certificate and Occupation Certificate for the redevelopment works. 4 SCOPE OF WORKS Tender inviting applications for laisoning with CMWSSB/ local bodies for obtaining water connection for Banks s quarters (Under Construction) at K K Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: i) Compiling the requirements of the Bank by having discussions with the Bank and assisting them o finalise the optimum requirement with regard to the type of flat, no, of flats etc. to be developed in the property. ii) Preparation of detailed layout for laying GI pipeline from CMWSSB (GI main pipeline) to underground sump to the Bank for their consideration and approval. iii) On obtaining approval of the Bank for the tentative layout sketch, compiling the details of documents that are reuired to be submitted to CMWSSB authorities and furnishing the details to the Bank for arranging for the documents. iv) Liasioning with the authorities of CMWSSB and Chennai Corporation and such other local bodies for getting the approval for water connection to the said building. v) Obtaining the demand notes in favour of the Bank in respect of payments to be made by the Bank towards scrutiny fee, development charges, security deposit, Connection charges etc., will be reimbursed by IDBI. vi) Desirous firms may obtain the prescribed tender schedule form from Shri J John Britto, Deputy General Manager, IDBI Bank Ltd., 115, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai vii) Only those vendors who are empanelled with CPWD (South) may submit their offers. viii) The Price Bid may be collected from saidapet office premises and which may be submitted with relevant documents before the due date in sealed envelopes superscribibg on the top left hand corner as Tender inviting applications for liasing with CMWSSB/ local bodies for obtaining water connection for Banks s quarters (Under Construction) at K K Nagar, Chennai to Shri J John Britto, Deputy General Manager, IDBI Bank Ltd., 115, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai

5 ix) If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect/false at a later stage, he shall be liable to be debarred from the tendering and also Bank may impose suitable penalty. x) Bank reserves the right to reject any or all prospective applications without assigning any reason and to restrict the list of prequalified vendors to any numbers deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received satisfying basic prequalification criteria. xi) This Notice is also available on the web site Authorized Signature of Tenderer with Official Stamp

6 SCOPE OF WORKS Tender inviting applications for engaging consultant / engineering firms for laisoning with Tamil Nadu electricity board office for obtaining electric power connection for Banks s quarters (Under Construction) at K K Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: i) Obtaining & compiling the requirements of the Bank by having discussions with the designated Bank officials and assisting them to finalise the total requirement of electric power for the flats and common area in the complex. ii) Preparation of detailed application forms for each individual flat and common area services (50 connection approx which may very as per TNEB norms) for obtaining low tension (LT) service connection. iii) To Liaison with the authorities of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), TANGEDCO & the local substation office for getting the approval for the connected load of the flats & other utilities in the complex. iv) Submitting the application forms to TNEB, TANGEDCO & other local offices and resubmitting the applications with modifications if required and arrange for getting the approvals for the electric power load. v) Obtaining the demand notes from TANGEDCO in favour of the Bank in respect of payments to be made by the Bank towards scrutiny fee, development charges, security deposit, Electricity Connection charges etc., vi) Obtaining the local Chennai Corporation office approval for road cutting work for laying cables for the LT supply. Installation transformer and HT related work need to be carried out as per specification given in the annexure. vii) Liaising with the local office / substation of TANGEDCO for effecting connection and energizing the electricity distribution boards in the quarters complex.
