1 STMA Youth Hockey Association Board of Directors Working Meeting Agenda November 17, 2014 Members Present: Dana, Kevin, Paul, Jenny B., Jeff P., Sam R., Matt F., Tammy, Wink, Sharon, Karl, Kari, Holly, Kris, Dawn, Jen, Heidi, Joe, Josh Call to Order 7:04 Approved - October Meeting Minutes Approved - November Agenda OPEN FORUM Chris Hansen - Update on rink Some people involved have changed due to the recent elections Still working towards an Arena and making progress. This takes lots of planning. All entities acknowledge the need for more ice as well as for a venue that can house other sports and bring shows and events into town. All entities working towards this goal in the next 4 years. Executive Board President s Report Josh Mite program has 203 skaters registered - WOW! Amazing work by Matt W, Jenny, Kevin, Registration - by all really!! Erika Zins is the new Ice Scheduler. We thank her for helping us. Fall Clean Up - for the first time we have done this it went awesome. We need to do more PR things - Heidi to work on Hockey Development Report Paul HOC Meeting on Thursday at 8PM - Discuss skill clinics and get a feeling on how season is going thus far. Injury reports need to be sent to Jeff Swenson. He needs to know because of billing. He can also take to D5. He will just need to file monthly. Secretary s Report Jen MN Wild Magazine Sales David Berg Coordinating SportsStar Photography is doing our photos again this year. Scheduling to start soon. Set for 12/11 and maybe 12/18 Bantam/U14 - Parent Night for last year skaters Want to do a fundraiser?
