1 Maybank2u.Premier Bonus Interest and Cash Back Reward Campaign - Terms & Conditions 1. Campaign period & Eligibility a. The Maybank2u.Premier Bonus Interest and Cash Back Reward Campaign ( Campaign ) is organised by Malayan Banking Berhad ( Maybank ) and shall commence from 23 October 2017 to 31 December 2017, both dates inclusive unless notified otherwise ( Campaign Period ). b. This Campaign is open to all new individual account holders of Maybank2u.Premier Account under the CONVENTIONAL SCHEME. Staff of Maybank together with its related companies ( Maybank Group ) are NOT eligible to participate in this Campaign ( Eligible Participant(s) ). 2. Campaign Mechanics New customer who opened a Maybank2u.Premier Account during calendar month with minimum monthly Average Daily Balance (ADB) growth of RM3,000 during calendar month against ADB for the month of September 2017 will be rewarded with a bonus interest of 1.5% p.a. and in the running to win RM100 cash reward. 3. Bonus Interest Requirements In addition to the prevailing interest board rates for Maybank2u.Premier Account, Eligible Participant can earn additional interest of 1.5% p.a. subject to meeting the following set of requirements during the Campaign Period. a. Anchor Product The anchor product for this Campaign is the Maybank2u.Premier Account opened under the CONVENTIONAL SCHEME maintained with Malayan Banking Berhad. b. Additional Interest Calculation i) Bonus Interest shall be calculated against the incremental monthly Average Daily Balance (ADB) of RM3,000 up to a maximum of RM3,000,000 in the Eligible Participant s Maybank2u.Premier Account. ii) Incremental monthly Average Daily Balance (IADB) = Monthly Average Daily Balance (ADB) BASELINE (as defined in paragraph (g) below) iii) Bonus Interest shall be calculated every calendar month within the Campaign Period. iv) Bonus Interest shall be credited monthly into Maybank2u.Premier Account by the 22th of the following month. v) Formula for Additional Interest calculation for the month is as follows: IADB x Additional Interest x No of Days/*No of Days in a Year *Leap year = 366 days, Non-leap year = 365 days

Average Daily Balance (ADB) i) Minimum Average Daily Balance for every calendar month is RM3,000 ii) Formula for ADB calculation for NEW Maybank2u.Premier Account opened during the Campaign Period: Total end day balance of NEW Maybank2u.Premier Ac from the day opened to the last day of calendar month Number of days in a month since the account was opened d. Baseline The baseline used for this Campaign refers to the ADB in Maybank2u.Premier Account for the month of September 2017 subject to the following:- i) The baseline for NEW Maybank2u.Premier Account opened during the Campaign Period is zero e. Example of New M2U Premier Account: TOTAL Date 25/10/17 26/10/17 28/10/17 29/10/17 30/10/17 31/10/17 6 Days Balance Outstanding (RM) RM5,000 RM15,000 RM15,000 RM10,000 RM10,000 RM25,000 RM80,000 1) New M2U Premier Account Open Date: 25/10/2017 2) Calculation for Average Daily Balance ADB for the month: ADB for October 2017 = RM 80,000 / 6 days = RM 13, ) IADB for October 2017 = ADB *BASELINE = RM 13, RM 0 = RM 13, *BASELINE = RM 0 ( NEW Maybank2u.Premier Account opened during the Campaign Period) 4) Additional Interest Calculation for October 2017 = Incremental ADB X Additional Interest Rate x No of days / 365 RM 13, X 1.5% x 6/365 = RM3.28 f. Channel for Deposits

3 Deposits can be done at any Maybank Group branches (Malaysia) via over-the-counter deposits, Maybank Automated Teller Machines, Maybank Cash/Cheque Deposits Machines and third party transfers via Maybank2u.com.my/m2u mobile. Cheque deposits will only be eligible and considered upon clearance by Maybank Group (wherever applicable) and the proceeds of the cheques credited in the said account. g. Current Prevailing Board Interest Rates for Maybank2u.Premier Account All Eligible Participants will earn prevailing interest board rate based on the respective savings balance tiers. The prevailing interest board rate will be paid at the end of each month, on a permanent basis even after the expiry of this Campaign. The current prevailing interest board rates are as follows:- Savings Balance *Board Interest rate Up to RM5, % p.a. Up to RM10, % p.a. Up to RM25, % p.a. Up to RM50, % p.a. Up to RM100, % p.a. Up to RM200, % p.a. Up to RM500, % p.a. Above RM500, % p.a. * With effect from 16th August Should there be changes in the prevailing board rate, the board interest rates may be revised. 4. RM100 cash back reward Conditions a. The Eligible Participants who are eligible for the Bonus Interest in one of the calendar months, will be in the running to win the RM100 cash reward. b. One (1) new customers who opens a Maybank2u.Premier Account will receive RM100 cash reward during the campaign period. A random selection will be conducted by the bank on the following month to determine the winner. c. The RM100 amount will be credited to customer s Maybank2u.Premier Account within 60 days after the campaign has ended. d. One person can only win once throughout the campaign period. 5. Other Conditions a. The Eligible Participant may be eligible for the Bonus Interest in one of the calendar months, but may not be eligible for Bonus Interest in the following month due to non-fulfilment of any of the eligibility criteria of this Campaign.

4 b. An eligible customer who closes his/her Maybank2u.Premier Account before the selection of the winner and announcement shall not be entitle to receive the cash reward. c. Only active Maybank2u.Premier Accounts shall be eligible. Dormant accounts shall not be considered. d. Eligible Participants who close their Maybank2u.Premier Accounts before the monthly crediting of Additional Interest shall NOT be entitled for the Additional Interest. e. Accountholder s eligibility and accumulated deposit growth will be tracked automatically by Maybank s system. No contest entry form or registration or participation is required. f. Maybank Group s decision on all matter relating to the Campaign shall be final, conclusive and binding. No further correspondence, appeal, protests or attempts to dispute the same would be entertained in any event. 6. General a. Maybank reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend or terminate this Campaign earlier in whole or in part and reserves the right to modify, vary, supplement, add, delete or amend any of the terms and conditions contained herein, from time to time by giving at least minimum of twenty one (21) days prior notice thereof, the notice of which shall be posted through Maybank2u website at or through any other channel or channels that Maybank may deem as appropriate. b. By participating in this Campaign, Eligible Participants agree to access to Maybank website at on a regular basis to view the terms and conditions herein and seek clarification from Maybank should any of the terms & conditions be not fully understood and to ensure that they are kept-up-to-date with any changes or variations made to the terms and conditions herein. c. By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein set forth including any amendment thereto. d. In no event shall Maybank nor any of its officers, servants, employees, representatives and/or agents (including without limitation, any third party service providers engaged by Maybank for purposes of this Campaign) be liable to Eligible Participants in this Campaign for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to, loss of income, profits or goodwill) arising from or in connection with this Campaign. e. Maybank shall not be responsible and / or liable nor shall it accept any form of liability in whatsoever nature and howsoever arising or suffered by Eligible Participants resulting directly or indirectly from the Eligible Participants participation in this Campaign or otherwise. f. Furthermore, Maybank shall not be liable for any default of its obligation under this Campaign due to any force majeure event which include but not limited to act of God, war,

5 riot, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of Maybank. g. Maybank, at its discretion may withdraw, cancel or suspend the Campaign earlier than the Campaign Period or extend the campaign beyond the Campaign Period and shall be subject to the availability of fund or campaign period by giving twenty one (21) days prior notice via or in other methods which Malayan Banking Berhad deems practical. h. Maybank Privacy Notice By participating in this Campaign, Eligible Participants/ Winners agree and consent to allow his/ her personal data being collected, processed and used by Maybank in accordance with Maybank Privacy Notice, which may be viewed on ( Maybank s Privacy Notice ). In addition and without prejudice to the terms in the Maybank s Privacy Notice, Eligible Participants agree and consent to his/her personal data or information being collected, processed and used by Maybank for: a) the purposes of the Campaign; and b) marketing and promotional activities conducted in such manner as Maybank deems fit in any media including but not limited to any form of advertising or publicity media and materials such as audio and/or visual recordings published through newspapers, television networks, radio stations or online and digital media and on the Internet, without further express consent from the Eligible Participants. Marketing and promotion activities include without limitation the use and/or publication of any details provided in and/or in connection to the entries, interviews material as well responses and related photographs. In this regard, each Eligible Participants agrees to co-operate and participate without further express consent and/or payment or consideration, in all reasonable advertising and publicity activities of Maybank in relation to the Campaign. i. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and parties are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
