1 CIMB Bank Remit Cash Contest Terms and Conditions 1. The CIMB Bank Remit Cash Contest ( the Campaign ) is organised by CIMB Bank Berhad (13491-P) ( CIMB Bank ). 2. This Campaign is held in conjunction with the CIMB Islamic Remit Cash Contest organized by CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad ( H) ( CIMB Islamic ). In carrying out the Campaign in conjunction with CIMB Islamic, the Prizes under this Campaign shall come from the same pool of Prizes intended for the campaign organized by CIMB Islamic. The Campaign Period 3. The Campaign shall run from 23 October 2017 to 31 March 2018, both dates inclusive ( the Campaign Period ). 4. CIMB Bank reserves the right upon giving notice of not less than fourteen (14) calendar days to change the duration and/or the commencement and/or expiry dates of the Campaign Period. Eligibility and Qualifying Criteria 5. This Campaign is open to:- i) All individual CIMB Bank customers; and ii) Non-individual CIMB Bank customers currently in active business operations with annual sales turnover not exceeding RM50 million, which refers to any of the following:- a. Sole proprietorships; b. Partnerships; c. Limited liability partnerships; d. Private companies (as defined under the Companies Act 2016) falling under the business jurisdiction of Enterprise Banking and Commercial Banking of CIMB Bank as determined by CIMB Bank at its absolute discretion from time to time; and iii) All new CIMB Bank customers who have successfully enrolled within the Campaign Period as an individual or non-individual as defined above; and iv) Valid Current Account/Savings Account ( CASA ) account; and v) Whose valid mobile number(s) is maintained in CIMB Bank s records. (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Eligible Participant ) 6. The following categories of persons/entities are not eligible to participate in this Campaign:- i) Permanent and/or temporary staffs or employees of *CIMB Group of Companies and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or ii) Representatives and/or agents (including advertising and campaign agents, 3rd party vendors and service providers) of CIMB (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their permanent and/or contract employees and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); and/or iii) Other non-individual entities not defined above, including charitable/non-profit organizations/societies corporate customers, public listed companies, clubs, associations and co-operatives; and/or iv) Individuals below the age of 18 years. *CIMB Group of Companies means the groups of companies/legal entities of which CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, being the ultimate holding company of CIMB Bank has a controlling interest, directly or indirectly, either by itself or through its subsidiaries. 7. In relation to joint accounts, only the first named account holder i.e. the primary account holder shall be eligible to participate in the Campaign ( Primary Accountholder ). For the purpose of this Campaign, joint accountholders will be treated as one accountholder.
2 Campaign Mechanics and Conditions 8. Eligible Participants will automatically earn one (1) entry from successful Inward/Outward remittance of a minimum of RM5,000 through Inward/Outward Foreign Telegraphic Transfer/SpeedSend/MoneyGram, where: i) Inward Foreign Telegraphic Transfer/SpeedSend/MoneyGram transactions are funds credited into the Eligible Participant s CASA account during the Campaign Period; and ii) Outward Foreign Telegraphic Transfer/SpeedSend/MoneyGram transactions are funds debited from the Eligible Participant s CASA account during the Campaign Period. 9. Every multiple of RM5,000 will earn one (1) additional entry. 10. Eligible Participants who open a Foreign Currency Current Account ( FCCA ) during the Campaign Period and maintain a minimum Monthly Average Balance of USD500 or equivalent in the FCCA in the month of account opening during the Campaign Period will be entitled to five (5) entries. 11. Monthly Average Balance is computed in the following manner: Sum of Total Daily Balance (from account opening date to te last day of te same mont) Total No of Days (from account opening date to te last day of te same mont) 12. For Preferred/Prime/CIMB@Work customers (Employees and Employers), the total entries will be doubled. 13. Eligible Participants are entitled to win multiple es throughout the Campaign Period and a maximum of one (1) Quarterly Grand Prize throughout the Campaign Period. 15. Entries that are earned by an Eligible Participant in a month within the Campaign Period ( Participating Month ) and within the 1 st Quarter (October 2017-December 2017) or 2 nd Quarter (January 2018-March 2018) within the Campaign Period ( Participating Quarter ) will only qualify for the and Quarterly Grand Prize within that Participating Month and Participating Quarter, respectively, and will not be carried forward to the next Participating Month and Participating Quarter. 16. The winners of the and the Quarterly Grand Prize will be announced eight (8) weeks after the end of each Participating Month and Participating Quarter, respectively. Fulfilment will take place as per the table below:

The Winners of the Campaign shall be required to attend the Prize presentation ceremony and/or other publicity programs as and when required at their own costs and expenses. If the Winners fail to attend such ceremony and/or other publicity programs without valid reason(s), CIMB Bank reserves the right to forfeit the Prize(s) of the Winners and select other winners. Winner Selection Process 19. Eligible Participants shall be randomly selected by an automated selection system based on the entries earned by Eligible Participants during the Campaign Period, for the following Prizes: i) Subject to the terms and conditions herein, CIMB Bank s automated system will randomly generate a list of 100 potential winners, which consists of 50 individual and 50 non-individual potential winners( the List ), based on the entries earned by Eligible Participants ( Potential Winners ). The List shall be generated monthly. A SMS notification will be sent once to the Potential Winners on the List. He/She will be required to answer one (1) question by replying to the said SMS with the correct answers as soon as possible to maximise chances of winning, or the time stated in the SMS, from the date the SMS was sent to the Potential Winners. If the Potential Winners reply with the correct answers, he/she will qualify as one of the Winners of the. In the event the Potential Winners do not answer correctly or do not reply within the given deadline, he/she will be disqualified from winning the. The top five (5) individual and the top five (5) non-individual Potential Winners with the fastest reply on the said SMS with the correct answer will be declared as winners. In the event that there are remaining prizes due to disqualification above, the same SMS will be sent to the next Potential Winners on another generated
4 List. The process shall stop once there are ten (10) qualified Winners, consisting of five (5) individual and five (5) non-individual winners. ii) Quarterly Grand Prize Subject to the terms and conditions herein, CIMB Bank s automated system will randomly generate a list of potential winners based on the entries earned by Eligible Participants over the quarter ( Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners ). The List shall be generated quarterly. The Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners will be contacted by telephone at their mobile number maintained in CIMB Bank s records and shall be required to answer two (2) questions correctly before being declared the Quarterly Grand Prize Winner. If the first attempt to contact the Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winner fails, i.e. due to reasons such as no answer, telephone number not in service, no connection or any other reasons, another two (2) attempts will be made to call the said Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winner. Where the third (3 rd ) attempt is unsuccessful, such Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified and will not be entitled to win the respective Quarterly Grand Prize. The next-in-line Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners who were initially drawn based on the List shall then be contacted. The process shall stop once there are two (2) qualified Quarterly Grand Prize Winners, consisting of one (1) individual and one (1) non-individual winner. 20. For avoidance of doubt, standard telecommunications charges will apply and shall be borne by the Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners or Potential Winners. 21. CIMB Bank has the sole discretion to fix the appointed working day (Monday-Friday) and time (9am-6pm) to send the SMS to or call Potential Winners or Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners respectively. CIMB Bank shall not be held responsible for SMS notifications or telephone calls made to Potential Winners or Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners respectively, which are not answered or not proceeded with due to the unavailability of Potential Winners and the Potential Quarterly Grand Prize Winners at the appointed date and time and/or due to any other whatsoever reasons. It shall be the Eligible Participant s responsibility to ensure that their phone numbers provided are current and updated with CIMB Bank in the event of any changes being made to the same by the Eligible Participant(s). General Terms and Conditions 22. By responding to the SMS as per Clause 18 i) and participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein and agree that any and all decisions fairly and reasonably made by CIMB Bank in relation to every aspect of the Campaign shall be final, binding and conclusive. CIMB Bank reserves its absolute rights and discretion to disqualify and/or reject any Eligible Participants that it determines or reasonably suspects to be tampering with the process or the operation of the Campaign, or to be acting in breach of the Terms and Conditions herein. No further correspondence, appeals, protests or attempts to dispute the same would be entertained. 23. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participants hereby consent to and agree that CIMB Bank shall be entitled to publish and/or display materials and/or information, including but not limited to the names and photographs of the Eligible Participants who win the Grand Prize and/or for this Campaign ( Winners ) for advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. Non-compliance may result in an alternative winner being chosen. 24. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participants hereby agree not to hold CIMB Bank liable in the event that CIMB Bank is unable to perform in whole or in part of any of its obligations herein, attributable directly or indirectly to the failure of any mechanical or electronic device, data processing system, transmission line, electrical failure, industrial dispute, any act beyond CIMB Bank's control or due to any factor in a nature of a force majeure.

By acceptance or receipt of a Prize, the Prize Winner agrees to hold CIMB Bank and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from any claim, action, proceeding, judgment, damage, loss, expense or liability suffered by CIMB Bank and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents in connection with such Prize Winner s participation in the Campaign or receipt, redemption or use of the Prize. 26. CIMB Bank shall not be liable to any Eligible Participant or any party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by the Eligible Participant or any party (including but not limited to, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party) howsoever arising, in relation to the participation or non-participation in the Campaign unless the same is due to the gross negligence and/or default of CIMB Bank. 27. CIMB Bank reserves the right to substitute and/or replace the Prize(s) offered under this Campaign with prize(s) of similar or equivalent cost(s) by giving prior notice of fourteen (14) calendar days to the Eligible Participants. 28. CIMB Bank shall be entitled to amend, vary, delete or add ( the Amendment ) to any of these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof and/or modify, discontinue, cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign by giving prior notice of twenty one (21) calendar days to the Eligible Participants. No compensation in cash or any kind shall be given to the Eligible Participants for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of such variation, deletion, addition or alteration of these Terms and Conditions and/or the extension, modification, cancellation, suspension or termination of this Campaign unless the same is due to the gross negligent and default of CIMB Bank. 29. Notification to the Eligible Participants in respect of the Amendment shall be effected at CIMB Bank s absolute discretion through any one of the following means of communication, namely, by ordinary mail to the Eligible Participants last known address or by posting a notice regarding the Amendment at each of CIMB Bank s branches where detail provisions regarding the Amendment may be provided in the notice itself or may be provided to the Eligible Participant upon request or by effecting an advertisement regarding the Amendment in one newspaper of CIMB Bank s choice, or via CIMB Bank s website or via electronic mail or by any other means of notice which CIMB Bank may select and the Amendment shall be deemed as binding on the Eligible Participant as from the date of notification of the Amendment or from such other date as may be specified by CIMB Bank in the notification. 30. These Terms and Conditions (as the same may be amended from time to time pursuant to Clause 28) shall be read in conjunction with the prevailing terms and conditions in CIMB Bank card and/or account agreement and/or relevant products and shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Campaign. 31. If there is any inconsistency(ies), conflict(s), ambiguity(ies) or discrepancy(ies) between the Bahasa Malaysia and English version or other language version of these Terms and Conditions herein, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. Notwithstanding the aforementioned where request is made by the Eligible Participant and noted and acknowledged by CIMB Bank in its records that the Bahasa Malaysia version of the terms and conditions shall govern the operation of the transacting account, then the Bahasa Malaysia version of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail. 32.
