She entered the investment management business in Since 1999, she served at the firms that became Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Her career in finance started at a small commodity research house and has blossomed into her own office on Park Avenue. Ann works with our clients to tailor wealth management strategies designed to solve their complex financial challenges. She has more than 30 years experience in the field. Many of her clients have worked with her since day one. They appreciate her rational and intelligent approach to choosing investments that fit their goals and lifestyles. The sixth of eight children, Ann was practically born into her field. Since a young age she has been learning about growing a business from her grandfather; the family owned a construction firm which later donated a barge to NYC. Today, it functions as the downtown heliport. Ann was a standout student at the University of Hartford, where she earned a BA in Economics. She was honored with the Blumenthal Prize for Excellence in Economics and graduated magna cum laude. Ann has also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP ) designation. Ann lives in Manhattan and Quogue. She is a past president of Talk of the Town Toastmasters Club and past area governor of Toastmasters in New York. She has also taught at Hunter College and worked with the Junior Achievement Program. 2 Service Group Meet the team that you will be working with Michael Constantine, Client Service Associate, is a born and bred New Yorker. He was a Dean List student at Fordham Preparatory School. He continued his Jesuit education at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD. He graduated in 2014 with honors and a bachelor s degree of business administration. Michael joined Morgan Stanley in January 2015 and has acquired the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. Since his hiring, Michael has joined in with the Murray Hill Group. He brings a young, energetic and professional view on current economic conditions. He defines excellent customer service. In addition he has sharp and unique problem solving ability. In his spare time Michael is an avid golfer, an amateur chef, active in his community and loves to travel. Nicole Burke, Wealth Management Intern, is a native of Scottsdale, Arizona. She is set to graduate from New York University in May 2016 with a BA in Mandarin Chinese and a minor in Business Studies from the Leonard Stern School of Business. After living and studying in Shanghai and Beijing for over a year, Nicole became fluent in Mandarin Chinese and reads the New York Times every morning in Mandarin. She joined Morgan Stanley in October 2015, interning for the Murray Hill Group. She assists Michael and Craig with client inquiries and administrative duties. In her spare time, Nicole picks up new languages, such as Tagalog, Korean, and Japanese. 2

6 The HBC Group at Morgan Stanley Our Investment Philosophy: Core & Tactical Approach Wealth Management Formula Investment Mission: To deliver an effective investment philosophy, developed and honed over more than two decades and implemented conscientiously by highly skilled individuals who share culture and values. We believe that asset allocation (what types of investments you own and in what proportion) is the key determinant in long-term investment results. Core strategies are investments such as stocks and bonds, which are held for the long-term. Periodically these investments will be rebalanced in order to maintain an agreed upon ratio (sell some of the assets that are high to buy those that are currently low). AP = WE + WT+WP + CG Core strategies typically make up most of a client portfolio (90-95%), with tactical representing the other 5-10%. Tactical strategies represent investment themes that defy categorization within the standard asset class schema (i.e., US energy renaissance, sector investments due to market cycle awareness, etc.). In general, as prevailing interest rates rise, fixed income securities prices will fall. Bonds face credit risk if a decline in an issuer's credit rating, or creditworthiness, causes a bond's price to decline. Finally, bonds can be subject to prepayment risk. When interest rates fall, an issuer may choose to borrow money at a lower interest rate, while paying off its previously issued bonds. As a consequence, underlying bonds will lose the interest payments from the investment and will be forced to reinvest in a market where prevailing interest rates are lower than when the initial investment was made. NOTE: High yield bonds are subject to additional risks such as increased risk of default and greater volatility because of the lower credit quality of the issues.
