Dear Sir, Sealed percentage quotation is invited for the above mentioned work in the prescribed schedule which is attached h/w. The quotation shall be submitted in sealed cover duly super scribed with the subject. All the works shall be carried out as per specification of R & B department s hand book of Govt. of Gujarat and as per the attached specifications/instruction of engineer -in-charge. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations in part or full without assigning any reason thereof. The Earnest Money Deposit will be accepted in form of DD on any Nationalized bank and IDBI,AXIS,HDFC,ICICI banks payable at Gandhinagar, drawn in favour of GUJARAT STATE ELECTRICITY CORPORATION LTD., Tender fee will be accepted only by Demand Draft on any Nationalized bank OR IDBI,AXIS,HDFC,ICICI banks situated at Gandhinagar, drawn in favour of GUJARAT STATE ELECTRICITY CORPORATION LTD. Tender without EMD and tender fee, shall be rejected. Two separate Demand Drafts for tender fee and EMD should be submitted. Any delay that may take in work beyond contractual cutoff date/stipulated period in the order shall be subjected to penalty(not liquidated damages) at the rate of ½ % of the contract price/order price per week or part thereof subject to a maximum of 10 % of the total contract value/order value (i.e. End cost including taxes & duties). 3 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS NAME OF WORK :- REMOVING SILT,SOIL,DEBRIES FROM STROM WATER DRAIN SITUATED AT OUT SIDE FROM COLONY GATE TO RIVER GTPS. SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 The scope of work involved in the above said works covers removing debris mud soil from the storm water drain and same is disposed off in within the lead of 2.00 km as directed by EIC. Agency has to take special care to prevent the human being accident while person working in side the strom drain. The contractor is responsible for any accident. 1.2 To execute the work under this contract, all arrangements like machinery, scaffolding, labour and materials, shall have to be arranged by contractor at his own cost. Also the contractor will arrange for cleaning and disposing of waste materials after completion of work. 1.3 Before quoting the rate, contractor shall inspect the site and shall aware himself about nature of work involved. 1.4 Any activity not specifically mentioned in the tender but necessary in The opinion of the EIC of work must be carried out for successful Completion of job. 4 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION. ITEM NO: (1) Removing / cleaning silt soil debris from storm water drain up to lift of any height with all tool and tackle risk of accident including making the stack of removed material etc as directed by EIC. Stack measurement will be paid in CUM. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower with tools such as pavda, pavadi, buckets, cleaning bars for cleaning of debris material, like mud loose papers soil, mud, silt, grass from the storm water drain situated out side of main colony gate. Contractors remove the material from the storm water drain and make stack in side of drain with all tools and tackles. The contractor is responsible for any human being accident. Stack measurement will be paid in CMT. ITEM NO: 2 Transporting of removed silt, mud, debris with all tool and including Carting, loading unloading and disposing within the lead of 2.00Km etc complete as directed. The item rate is including, loading unloading transporting and disposed off removed material of item no1 within the lead of 2.00 Km.with all tools and tackles. Contractor has to take all precautionary measure to prevent falls material on the road. The payment will be made in CMT. CONTRACTOR S SIGNATURE 4

TOTAL RS NOTE : All royalties, sales tax, toll tax, local tax, development charges, VAT tax, and any other taxes including works contract tax etc., in respect of this contract and also any statutory variation in future towards above mentioned taxes & any other taxes if levied in future by statutory authority applicable to the this contract shall be payable by the contractor and GSECL will not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect. The rates will be Excluding the service tax. The reimbursement against Service tax will be paid to the contractor as per Govt. rules & regulations, The proof of payment made by the contractor to the appropriate department shall be submitted to GSECL, failing which appropriate amount shall be withheld on getting information / instruction from the concerned department.
