1 1. ORGANIZATION The seminar is being organized by the Superintendencia de Bancos de Panama (SBP) and the Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA). 2. Request your training coordinator an access account for the Activities Manager at the following asba@asbasupervision.org 2. Once you have a username and password, access the Activities Manager through the following link 3. Complete your profile and personal information. 4. Make your application to the selected course during the registration period. 5. For more information, download the User s Manual from the Activities Calendar in the Association s webpage. 4. RESERVATION PROCEDURES Hotel and flight bookings, obtaining an entry visa, as well as any vaccinations whenever required, are responsibility of each participant. 1

The Tocumen International Airport is located at 30 minutes away from the venue. It offers taxi service with an approximate cost of USD The exit tax to international destinatios is USD WEATHER Panama has a tropical weather. Temperatures are relatively high and vary very little throughout the year. During the day, temperatures range between 86 F and 82 F. The hotel is airconditioned. 8. VISA Visa requirements vary according to the country of origin; thus, participants are advised to verify these requirements with their local Embassy or Consulate. [ 9. CURRENCY The official currency in Panama is the Balboa (B/.), which is at par with the US dollar. Foreign currency may be exchanged at local banks and the suggested hotels. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted in almost every hotel, restaurant and shopping mall. 10. DRESS CODE The dress code for the opening and closure is formal. The rest of the days, business casual attire is permitted (jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed). 3

4 11. LANGUAGE The official languages for the course are English and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation service will be available during the sessions. 12.
