ATAF will develop work on domestic taxes issues. This technical meeting invites VAT exerts from member countries to discuss a variety of VAT-related issues. The result of the meeting will be the formation of a Technical Committee on VAT The meeting will review roles of country correspondents and seek ways of improving them. Activities for 2016 and plan for 2017 will form the basis of engagement. The objective is to discuss and develop the research design to be implemented in conducting field country studies; define clear Customs Compliance Training and a Technical assistance/join audit programmes. 3 Diplomatic Representatives 6-7 April Independent Technical Assistance Panel meeting April Short Course on Revenue Forecasting and Analysis (French) The first meeting of the Panel will discuss the series of demand-driven requests that have come through to ATAF. It will also map out how request should be handled or declined This is a course to be conducted in French that aims at introducing participants to concepts of forecasting revenue and analysing trends using available statics for management decision making.
