There are 6,518 males and 6,952 females. 19.7% of the ward population are people aged 60 and over, compared to the Borough figure of 22.2%. 23.7% of the population are aged between 0-15, compared to the Borough figure of 19.9%. St Thomas s has an area of 359 hectares, with 37.5 people per hectare.
