Budget a) Budget Amendment #3 - May 31, 2019 Authorize revision to the budget for year ending May 31, 2019, as follows: Increase to Item (Construction Contracts Tapping) in the amount of $500,000 Increase to Item (Developer Contracts) in the amount of $500,000

68 SUFFOLK COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY Oakdale, Long Island, New York I N T E R O F F I C E C O R R E S P O N D E N C E DATE: December 7, 2018 TO: FROM: Jeff Szabo, CEO Nora Cairo, Benefit Specialist SUBJECT: NYSHIP/Empire Plan Renewal for 2019 Plan Year The New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP), also known as the Empire Plan, issued the monthly premium changes for the 2019 plan year. The premiums for plan primary enrollees (not enrolled in Medicare) increased about 3%. The premiums for Medicare primary enrollees decreased an average of 5.5%. This decrease is due to the re-procurement of the prescription drug program as well as benefit changes (i.e. copayment increases) effective 1/1/19. Active/Retired Single Coverage: $ 1, per month, $12, annually per enrollee Family Coverage: $ 2, per month, $ 28, annually per enrollee Medicare Retirees Medicare Single: $ per month, $ 4, annually per enrollee Medicare Family (1 enrollee): $1, per month, $ 21, annually per enrollee Medicare Family (2 enrollees): $1, per month, $ 13, annually per enrollee The administrative fee per enrollee for 2019 is increasing to $2.652 from $2.493 (an increase of about 6%). The total estimated premium for the 2019 plan year, including employee premiums, retiree premiums and administrative fees is $18,895,000.
