1 With annual membership fees due to be paid by the end of October there are new ways to pay including by Direct Debit. Please have a read of this news article to find out more Membership fees for Boots Hockey Club are due to be paid each year and there are a few ways in which you can make your payment to the club. Payment in full or over 3 instalments; 1 Direct Debit: Through your club website account using GoCardless. Payment in full or over 3 instalments. 2 Bank Transfer: Payment in full using your own online banking. 3 Pay by card: Through your club website account. Payment in full or over 3 instalments. 4 Cash or Cheque: Payment in full by giving to your team captain. In order to help keep administration and bank charges to a minimum for our volunteers we would prefer members to make payments electronically if at all possible; in this short guide we will give you a quick run through of how to do so. Please note that some members have asked for the facility to pay in instalments by Direct Debit, this will only be possible via the GoCardless service. Membership Category Membership Fee (If paid before 31st October or by Direct Debit) Membership Fee (If paid after 31st October) Adult Adult (Concession) Junior Honorary (Playing) Social Honorary (non-playing) 0 0 If you need an account creating for the club website please use the Contact Us on the club website to get in touch and we ll make sure everything is set up for you ( contact_us) Once you have an account just follow the steps below to set up your Direct Debit payment.
2 Login into the club website 1. Go to the Boots HC website 2. Select the Login button in the top right corner of the homepage 3. Enter your username and password then select the Login button. If you cannot remember your password select the Reset your password option. If you cannot remember your username select the Reset your password option and then select the Get a reminder option. 4. After successfully logging in to your account you should now be taken to your personal profile. Make sure your details are up to date 1. Select Edit member 2. Insert all information required on this page, we especially need your Date of Birth, Emergency Contact Details and to make sure you confirm that you abide by the the terms of the club constitution. If you have not yet be assigned with a shirt number please insert none. 3. Once you have added all the information select the Update member button. Check your account and setup Direct Debit 1. Select the My account option in the taskbar on the left hand side of the screen; 2. An overview of your payments should appear on the screen; 3. Select the Edit settings button;
3 4. Choose if you would like to pay your membership fee in full or instalments by Direct Debit each year. To pay over 3 monthly instalments please ensure the Pay subs monthly box is checked. 5. Scroll down the page and select the Setup Direct Direct button; 6. Complete the online Direct Debit setup form and press continue.
4 7. Once you have completed this form you will get an to confirm your Direct Debit is set up and be returned to your account preferences That should complete your setup. Finally, please note that if you wish to pay by direct debit for multiple accounts e.g. partner or junior member, you will need to log in to each separate account and setup a Direct Debit for each member account. This is to protect both you and the club, it ensures that each individual club member account can be dealt with independently. Please note direct debits are taken from your account on or around the 15th of the month.
5 Paying by Bank Transfer: Simply log into your ebanking systems and set up a new payment with the following accounts details. Account Name : Boots Hockey Club Account Number : Account Sort Code : Payment Reference : The members name for which the payment covers e.g. Andy Fairbrother Once you have made a transfer please notify the following people by so that they can account for your payment. Lukasz Urbaniak - Club Treasurer : lu.urbaniak@gmail.com Helen Ware - Membership Secretary : hlware@outlook.com NB: If you are paying for more than one member please make a separate payment transaction for each member that you wish to pay for. For each payment you send please give the members name as a reference - this make reconciling payments and auditing accounts much easier.
6 Cash / Cheque: If you need to pay by cash or cheque please do so by handing payment in full to your captain who will ensure that your membership fees are paid into the club account. Please make cheques payable to Boots Hockey Club. Note to Captains If you are presented with cheques for membership fees please pass on to the club treasurer for banking and reconciliation. If you are paid in cash for membership fees, please keep or bank the cash you receive and then transfer monies to the club via ebanking making payments to Boots Hockey Club using the following accounts details.
