DEFINITION: The Manager of the event, Florda Antquaran Booksellers Assocaton, Inc. 2. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: The Exhbtor hereby expressly releases the Management, the Cty of St. Petersburg, The Colseum, ts agents, offcers and representatves from any and all labltes for damage, loss, njury, or other consequences to hmself or employees whle at the Event. Exhbtor agrees to ndemnfy Management, Cty of St. Petersburg, The Colseum, and any part thereof, aganst any clams arsng out of, or n any connecton wth, the use of the space or grounds n the Event, or to not hold Management, Cty of St. Petersburg or The Colseum, lable for any fees other than those pad to Management n advance, should ths Event be canceled. All labltes are explctly referred to n the Contract for Exhbtor Prvlege and Space. Nether Management, the Cty of St. Petersburg, the Colseum, or ts agents, offcers and representatves, shall be responsble for fre, theft, or other damage, whether caused neglgently, wllfully or otherwse, and they are expressly released from any and all labltes for any loss, njury or damage to persons and property. In case The Colseum, or any part thereof shall be destroyed or damaged by fre, or other cause, or f by reason of government restrcton, the use of sad premses or the conductng of the show s prevented, ether before, durng or after the show, then the Exhbtor hereby waves clam for damages or compensaton whch mght arse by reason thereof, except the return to the Exhbtor of proportonate payments made for the rental of the booth or space. 3. ELIGIBILITY: The Management reserves the rght to determne elgblty of any Exhbtor or product to be exhbted at the Event. 4. SUBLEASE: Exhbtor shall nether assgn, sublet, nor share ths lease applcaton, nor any part of same, wthout pror wrtten approval of Management. If approved by Management, a $50 sharng fee wll be added to the gross rent. A partnershp wll be acceptable only upon presentaton of legal dentfcaton of same (e.g., sales tax numbers, lcenses, etc.). Each Exhbtor wll be requred to sgn a formal applcaton, and n the case of approved sharng, the sharng fee must be prepad and submtted wth the sgned applcaton. 5. In the event EXHIBITOR FAILS TO FULFILL APPLICATION, all reservatons, applcatons, or applcaton deposts and mones shall be retaned by Management, as specfed n the applcaton. 6. ALL FEES ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL BY March 1, A $50 late fee wll be added to rent not receved by March 1, Untl such tme as payment n full s receved, Management retans the rght to refuse admttance of exhbts or materals to the Event. 7. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY EXHIBITOR or representatve who performs an act, whch, n the opnon of Management, detracts from the dgnty of the Event or s objectonable or unethcal to the purpose of the Event.

8 8. If crcumstances deem t advsable or necessary, MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER LOCATION OF EXHIBITORS as ndcated on offcal floor plan. 9. THERE WILL BE NO PACKING OR DISMANTLING BY EXHIBITOR PRIOR TO CLOSING OF THE EVENT. Exhbtors volatng offcal closng tme wll be the last to have use of porter servce, and wll be barred from future events. 10. DAMAGE: Exhbtor agrees to be lable for any damage to walls, tables, floors, woodwork, or to other fxtures on the premses, or to other exhbtors property. 11. EXHIBITOR ADMITTANCE: No Exhbtor shall be permtted entrance to the event more than one hour pror to the scheduled openng each day, except openng day. No Exhbtor shall be allowed nto the event after closng hours each nght, except for the fnal nght. Specal arrangements must be made wth the Management. 12. EXHIBITOR PASSES: Names of Exhbtors, representatves, or employees n attendance at the exhbts should be suppled Management at least 15 days pror to the Event, so passes can be prepared and dstrbuted at setup. A dealer, who s not exhbtng, s allowed to help an exhbtor set up pror to the show. However, the dealer s name must be gven to the Far Manager pror to openng day. The non-exhbtng dealer s NOT PERMITTED to browse or purchase pror to the show openng to the publc or durng non-show hours. 13. FOOD & BEVERAGES: No dstrbuton or sellng of any food or beverage s allowed. 14. EXHIBIT AREA: No solctng, dstrbuton of samples, catalogues, etc., wll be allowed outsde of the Exhbtor s desgnated dsplay area. Ths regulaton wll be strctly enforced by Management. Sad dsplay area s used for the sole purpose of showng and sellng rare and collectble books, manuscrpts, autographs, maps, prnts, and paper ephemera. 15. ATTENDANCE: All admsson polces wll be under exclusve control of Management at all tmes. 16. BOOTH SIZE: All tables, chars, cases, exhbtor goods or equpment must be mantaned wthn the confnes of the booth sze specfed on contract. Falure to reman wthn area confnes allows Management the rght to eject Exhbtor from premses, and/or make ths Agreement null and vod, wth no mones refunded Exhbtor. In some areas t s possble to extend the exhbt area beyond the booth or alcove sze at the dscreton of the Far Management and the Fre Marshall. In those cases the exhbtor wll pay an addtonal rental fee set by Far Management. 17. BOOTH APPEARANCE: In order to mantan a professonal and hgh qualty Book Far, exhbtors wll keep an orderly and neat-appearng booth. Cardboard boxes may not be used to dsplay books unless they are draped. Dscount and sale sgns (e. 10% off) are dscouraged because they dstract from dealers who do not dscount. If you feel you must have a secton of dscounted merchandse, the sgn (1 only no larger than 8 1/2" x 11") must be typeset or neatly prnted. 18. SHOULD EXHIBITOR DEEM IT NECESSARY TO CANCEL SAID CONTRACT, Management must receve wrtten notce at least sxty (60) days pror to the openng of the Event. If, n the opnon of Management, reason for cancellaton s a vald one, all mones pad to date wll be refunded. No Mones wll be refunded wthout sxty days notfcaton. If the Exhbtor should choose to "No Show," Exhbtor shall be lable for the balance of lease rental due. Balance to be pad wthn thrty (30) days from closng of Event.

9 19. EXHIBITOR SHALL PLACE wthn hs booth or space hs merchandse for sale, durng the term of the Event. Management reserves the rght to order wthdrawn from dsplay or sale, or both, any tem or artcle whch, n ts opnon, s not sutable, and Exhbtor agrees to comply wth such order promptly. ALL MATERIALS MUST BE VISIBLY PRICED. 20. EXHIBITOR SHALL HAVE hs exhbt space ready for the show by 4:30 p.m. on openng day. All books and merchandse should be on dsplay and all empty cartons must be out of sght. 21. MANAGEMENT SHALL HAVE the RIGHT TO MAKE SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE EVENT as t deems proper and may amend same at any tme. Such rules and regulatons and amendments thereto shall be conclusve on both partes. LOCATION AND DATE The 36th annual Florda Antquaran Book Far wll be held Aprl 21, 22, and 23, at the St. Petersburg Colseum, located n downtown St. Petersburg, Florda, at 535 Fourth Avenue North, Free parkng s avalable on ste. Show hours are Frday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Book Far s presented by the Florda Antquaran Booksellers Assocaton, and sponsored by Brght House Networks (Local Cable Provder), WUSF Publc Meda (Local NPR Staton), and the St. Petersburg Publc Lbrary, and other organzatons. EXHIBITION ARRANGEMENTS Booths and alcoves are all located n the man room of The Colseum, a large wooden-floored ballroom. Bookseller exhbton fees are $450 per booth (8 feet x 10 feet), wth a depost of $100 due wth regstraton, or $900 per alcove (14 feet x 15 feet), wth a depost of $200 due wth regstraton. Booth exhbtor fees cover rental of one [1] 80-square-foot (8 feet deep x 10 feet wde) curtaned booth, wth two [2] 8 feet x 2 feet draped tables, two [2] chars, two [2] mounted floodlghts, exhbtor sgn, dentfcaton badges and bags wth seals. Each exhbtor (per booth) may also rent a thrd covered table (6 feet x 2 feet) for an addtonal fee of $35 for the run of the Book Far. Alcove exhbtor fees cover rental of one [1] 210-square-foot (15 feet wde x 14 feet deep) alcove, wth any number of covered tables (6 feet and/or 8 feet), two [2] chars, exhbtor sgn, dentfcaton badges, and bags wth seals. All table requests must be made before March 1, Dsplay cases are avalable for an addtonal fee. Arrangements and payment for dsplay cases must be made drectly wth Atlantc Rentals (866) atlantcshowcases.com. All fees and rents are to be completely pad on or before March 1, You can pre-regster on Thursday, Aprl 20, from 11 a.m. untl 3 p.m., by stoppng by The Colseum, sgnng n, and pckng up your packet and name badges. Insurance regulatons, however, prevent us from allowng dealers to brng books nto the exhbton space on Thursday. Exhbtor unloadng and setup wll begn Frday, Aprl 21, at 7 a.m., and must be completed by 4 p.m. Packng and move out wll start Sunday after the Book Far s close at 5 p.m., and must be completed before 9 p.m. Porter servce, wth dolles, wll be avalable all day Frday and Sunday evenng after closng. Porters should be tpped for ther servces, wth a suggested fee of $15 per load (dolles are 6 feet long).

10 Should you wsh to share your booth or alcove space wth another qualfed exhbtor, a $50 sharng fee ($25 per dealer) wll be added to the gross rent and the sharng exhbtor must turn n a separate, sgned Booth Applcaton. [Paragraph 4 of Rules Governng Show]. Coffee, tea, soft drnks and both hot and cold sandwches and other snacks wll be for sale n The Colseum Snack Bar. Orders can be made at the Informaton Booth for a meal from a local sandwch shop to be delvered before the start of Frday s openng and for Saturday s lunch. PUBLIC ADMISSION AND SECURITY Fees for General Admsson to the entre three-day Book Far are $10 on Frday evenng.saturday and Sunday tckets are prced at $6 for a sngle-day tcket or $10 for a weekend pass.admsson s free for chldren under 12 and for all students wth a vald student ID. Exhbtors can request Specal Three-Day Tckets to mal to ther best customers. (See order form on theback of Applcaton). A porton of each tcket sale benefts the St. Petersburg Publc Lbrary. FABA members are allowed free admsson to the far and have the opton of requestng an addtonal two free tckets to the show. Around-the-clock securty s provded by contracted guards. Large bags or brefcases are nspected and marked before beng allowed n the exhbton area. All sales are to be bagged and sealed, and wll be checked at the ext. Exhbtors wll be provded wth dentfcaton badges, whch must be worn throughout set-up and for the duraton of the Book Far. Dealers who are not payng to exhbt wll not be allowed to browse or purchase pror to the Far s openng to the publc. Exhbtors wll not be allowed nto the exhbton area untl one hour before publc openng on Saturday and Sunday. BOOK FAIR PROGRAM A Far Program lstng all exhbtors, along wth ther specaltes and exhbton hall locaton, s made avalable to patrons for the duraton of the far. Dealers (exhbtng and non-exhbtng) may purchase advertsements for the program n four dfferent szes. (See Ad Applcaton for szes and rates.) ADVERTISING DID YOU KNOW? The Book Far has ts own BLOG and actve denttes on Facebook, YouTube, Twtter, Pnterest, Google+, and Instagram? In addton, PDFs of each are avalable, and can be added to Web stes, or sent n emal blasts to your customer lsts. Ths s a great way to get the materals nto a far greater varety of places than one person (or even a small group of people) could possbly manage.
