How we wll use and share your nformaton (a) Credt reference and fraud preventon agences We may request nformaton about your busness and the propretors of that busness from credt reference agences to help verfy your dentty. Ths request wll not affect your ablty to obtan credt (for example for a loan or credt card) n the future. In order to prevent and detect fraud and/or money launderng, the nformaton provded n ths applcaton may be checked wth fraud preventon agences. If fraud s dentfed or suspected detals may be recorded wth these agences to prevent fraud and money launderng. (b) Wth other RBS companes We and other RBS companes worldwde wll use the nformaton you supply n ths applcaton (and any nformaton we or other RBS companes may already hold about you) n connecton wth processng your applcaton and to assess your sutablty for our products. If your applcaton s declned we wll keep your nformaton for as long as t s requred by us or other RBS companes n order to comply wth legal and regulatory requrements. We and other RBS companes may use your nformaton n order to mprove the relevance of our products and marketng. (c) Wth other thrd partes The nformaton provded n ths applcaton may be used for complance wth legal and regulatory screenng requrements, ncludng confrmng your elgblty to hold a UK bank account and sanctons screenng. We may be requred to dsclose certan nformaton to regulators, government bodes and smlar organsatons around the world, ncludng the name, address, tax number, account number(s), total gross amount of nterest pad or credted to the account and the balance or value of the account(s) of ts customers to HM Revenue and Customs ( HMRC ). HMRC may exchange ths nformaton wth other countres tax authortes. Gvng your consent By contnung wth ths applcaton, you agree that we may use your nformaton n the ways descrbed above and are happy to proceed. You are also confrmng that: 1. you are holdng authorsaton from the other offcers and benefcal owners to consent to the searches aganst them as ndvduals and use of the nformaton ndcated n ths agreement; 2. and you wll promptly notfy them of any changes we notfy to you about the use of nformaton provded n ths form or obtaned as a result of the credt searches; 3. and you have notfed the other offcers and benefcal owners that f they would lke a copy of the nformaton we hold on them or have any questons about how we use that nformaton they should wrte to the bank at the address shown n the Terms; and 4. you have retaned a copy of ths form and have provded the other offcers and benefcal owners wth a copy of ths form ncludng the Terms under Accessng your nformaton. As part of the applcaton process we may ask you to verfy your complance wth the process set out above. Marketng nformaton RBS would lke to keep you nformed by letter, phone, emal and text message about products, servces and offers that we beleve may be of nterest to you. If you do not wsh us to contact you for these purposes, please place a cross n the box. RBS wll not share your nformaton wth thrd partes for marketng purposes.
