3 How does it work? With Contractor Employment you become an employee of Walker Smith for the duration of your contract. We will take responsibility for all your invoicing and cash collection and managing your personal tax, reporting directly to HMRC and ensuring you are compliant. As our employee, we also provide you with additional benefits that are typically only available for full time staff, through our partnership with BHSF.
