It has now reached a stage where creatng relable data, based on books mantaned by SHGs, may prove to be a game changer and may brng a paradgm shft n the way the htherto unbanked poor are fnanced. Realsng that IT s paramount for creatng 'Dgtal Inda', NABARD launched a plot project for dgtzaton of SHGs ttled EShakt. Further detals of the project can be seen at EShakt s desgned to capture the demographc and fnancal profles of the SHGs as well as the members. It also captures the Aadhaar and EPIC (Electors Photo Identty Card) numbers of the members. It s a project on dgtsaton of SHG accounts and to brng SHG members under the fold of Fnancal Incluson, thereby enablng them access to wder range of fnancal servces, together wth ncreasng the bankers' comfort n credt apprasal and lnkage. The robust desgn of the platform creates a rch database whch can be used by banks and varous Government Departments lke Panchayat Raj, Health & Famly Welfare, Women and Chld Development, Page 1 of 5

2 Educaton etc., whch could facltate n mplementaton of ther schemes. At a later date, even prvate sector, on selectve bass, can use the data for furtherng the lvelhoods of SHG members by enrollng them as ther agents for provdng goods and servces to the rural market and also mplement ther CSR actvtes. A. Job Profle The prmary dutes and responsbltes of the Junor Consultants shall be as follows.. Oversee smooth mplementaton of the project n the allocated area. Manage all aspects of the project mplementaton. Gudng the Implementng Agences and the Anmators v. Contnuous montorng of the project (Techncal, Physcal and Fnancal) v. Submsson of weekly / fortnghtly reports on the status of mplementaton to NABCONS & NABARD Regonal Offces v. Lasng wth other partners nvolved n the project v. Makng regular vsts to the IAs / SHGs and check ; (In the ntal stages) Whether fnancal data entered nto the forms for data collecton matches wth the regster mantaned by the SHGs and whether fnancal data forms are sgned and stamped Whether the books of accounts of the SHGs are upto date Whether Data entry s takng place regularly Fnancals generated through EShakt platform matches wth fnancals n the SHG regsters Data appearng n the mobles s consstent wth the regsters v. Audtng and nspectng the data collecton and updaton by the anmators x. Carry out random transacton audts x. Test check of the audts carred out by the audtors / ensure complance of the observatons x. Supervson of the executon of the prescrbed actvtes x. Ensurng adherence to the tmelnes x. Conduct and attend meetngs xv. Resolvng ssues xv. Be one stop soluton for smooth mplementaton of the project xv. Prepare detaled work plan and pont wse achevement chart of the actvtes and tours wth tmelnes xv. Documentaton of the mplementaton of the project xv. Addtonal tems of work, f any, assgned by the ROs B. Elgblty Crtera. Educatonal Qualfcatons: Graduaton n any stream wth requste awareness/knowledge n IT and Accountng.. Experence: Canddates havng mnmum 2 Years of Experence wll be preferred. Page 2 of 5

3 Canddates should have the preferable experence n any one of the followng:- NGO sector Networkng wth Govt. agences/ Departments Basc Book Keepng and Bankng awareness Possess Knowledge of Self Help Group envronment /ecosystem C. Other Crtera Profcency n usng tools such as MS Offce and other computer related functons for day-to-day functonng Profcency n readng, wrtng and speakng Englsh and local language D. Place of Postng The canddate can apply only for one State and may gve opton n order of preference for dstrcts of that State gven n the table-i. Intally, the canddate wll be posted ether at the State Dstrct of the State for whch he/she has been selected. Actual postng would be based on mert and admnstratve requrement of NABCONS. Canddate may be placed to any other dstrct/state as per the requrement of the project. E. Remuneraton per Month Canddate wll be pad consoldated Remuneraton of Rs. 20,000/- Per month all nclusve. The amount wll be nclusve of all statutory deductons that NABCONS may be requred to make on behalf of the contracted staff. Remuneraton wll be released after makng statutory deductons. A performance lnked ncrement of 5 % (maxmum) would be granted to the canddates after completon of 1 year of contract on annual performance revew. F. Other Facltes Sl. No. Partculars Elgblty A. 4 Other than the above, the consultants are not elgble for any other facltes/allowance lke leave encashment, performance bonus, leave travel concesson, etc. G. Age Canddate should have mnmum age wll be 24 years and maxmum 35 years at the tme of submsson of applcaton. H. Contract Perod. Junor Consultants, wll be apponted on contract bass ntally for a perod of one year whch may be extended based on requrement of the project and performance. Frst 3 months wll be probaton perod durng whch NABCONS shall have the rght to termnate the servces of the ndvdual wthout any notce perod or assgnng any reason. Thereafter NABCONS reserves the rght to termnate the contract by gvng one month notce wthn the contract perod.. The servces wll be of temporary nature and can be termnated by gvng a notce of 30 days.
