He has built up and run large direct and indirect revenue channels on both sides of the Atlantic. Mr. Carr has a senior proven track record in the sales and marketing area. Arthur Underwood Operations Project Manager, Trust Re, Bahrain Arthur S. Underwood has over forty years of experience in international insurance and reinsurance. Afterreceiving his university degree with High Honors in History from Kenyon College, he joined the International Division of Continental Insurance in New York. In 1974, Mr. Underwood was named Continental s Representative for the Benelux in Brussels, Belgium; later, he became Assistant Manager Benelux and France for Continental. Brian Aherne FCCA Hawthorn Life, A Berkshire, Hathaway Company Mr Aherne has worked in the UK Life and Pensions Industry for nearly 20 years. He joined Hawthorn Life in 2009 as Head of Investment Operations. His responsibilities include, Unit Pricing, Proposition Management and Portfolio management for Hawthorn's Bond and Pension products. In 2016 Mr Aherne led the project to transfer all of Hawthorns Unit pricing activities to Microsoft' Azure cloud based solution utilising the Invest pro system, which was an Industry first. Mr Aherne started his career with Aviva International, progressing to lead both the Finance and Investment teams. During his time at Aviva he was responsible for the Unit Pricing and Investment Proposition of the Offshore Bond and Open Architecture products. Ciaran Dempsey EMEA Business Development Director, Capita Life & Pensions Ciaran has a specific focus of developing strategic partnerships in the EMEA region for the Life and Pension division of Capita. Over the past 3 years, Ciaran has focused on growth in the European and Gulf Insurance markets.
