Reach for the top Grow your business with QUALITY ASSURANCE STANDARDS Business Qualifications & Risk Management Specialists
Having your business monitored for quality assurance standards will not only 99% bullet proof you from OSH but will also provide you with tangible business growth and profit benefits. At Summit Systems we make it our business to ensure your business succeeds like no other.
Summit Systems Ltd can help you put in place Quality Assurance (QA) systems including: ISO 9001:2000 ISO QMS QBASE TQS1 Foodsafety BWOF System Fire System Large companies Large/medium Large/medium Large/medium Medium/small All food companies All building owners All building owners All these systems are OSH compliant.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ACCREDITATION for your business will result in: Improvement in Profits The average increase in business profit, for all companies in the United States that have quality assurance systems, is 15%. More success in Tendering for projects 84% of local bodies and Government agencies in New Zealand now recognise Quality Assurance standards. There are four basic methods of tendering: CPP or competitive pricing Weighted attributes Brook s Law Target pricing Under weighted attributes and Brooks Law process, companies with QUALITY ASSURANCE ACCREDITATION have a distinct advantage.
3. Reduction in Annual ACC premiums is possible All small and medium employers can get reductions of up to 20% in annual ACC premiums. Obtain a copy of ACC Booklet for further details. To achieve a discount, you will need to implement high quality and auditable OHS systems for occupational safety. Large employers can apply for accredited employer status (AEP) programme; with the option of self insurance for ACC premiums. ACC audits are free, but applicants must be exceptionally well prepared and have completed the self audit booklet. Ask for and implement the Summit 20 or the OHSIP/ACC system designed to International Standards plus AS/NZS 4801, 4360 plus AS This will save you time and money.
4. Reduction in Insurance Premiums is Possible Insurance premiums can be reduced by an average of 25% per annum for organisations that have high quality Occupational Safety and Fire Safety systems in place. Most large Government Departments enjoy very low premiums through international insurers and brokers. They use high quality Risk Management systems to reduce premiums. Many Corporates and Local Bodies pay approximately half the normal rate of insurance per annum once they have proper Fire Safety systems, audits and fire warden training. Ask Summit Systems Ltd to provide a copy of a letter from Exchange Brokers confirming that the normal range of insurance for material damage is 0.5% to 1.5% of insured value depending on Risk Management systems in place. Then implement Fire Safety Systems and training to reduce your premiums.
5. Increase the Survival Prospects of your Business Did you know that approximately 50% of all businesses fail within five years and 94% fail within 10 years? Survivability of your business is possible, once you develop proper business plans and strategies to manage your risk. Summit Systems Ltd will: Teach you the 100 principles of business not taught at Harvard. Help you complete a Diploma in Business Planning. Assist in the preparation of your Business plans including: Marketing plans Strategic plans Business plans Human Resource plans
6. 7. Greater success in applying for government subsidies Up to 50% Government subsidy is available from Bizinfo. This is to add value to your business. Obtain a copy of the booklet from your local office of Bizinfo and get advice from Summit Systems Ltd as to what you can claim and how to go about it. About 50% of applications succeed and professional assistance is therefore indicated. Staff Training Subsidies Improve staff qualifications and staff relationships. Select certain staff to become Safety Reps and Safety Supervisors and gain significant subsidy from NZITO. You can get up to 50% subsidy of the cost of staff safety qualifications. Summit Systems Ltd is able to offer National Certificates in safety qualifications. Request a list of our training courses fax Head Office Request a quote for Unit Standards such as Hazard Identification, Accident Reporting, Confined Spaces, Fall Prevention. For further information, visit website go to Database and select Training.
8. Less Accidents in the Work Place A 75% reduction is a realistic goal. The CEO of ACC reported there were 126,862 serious accidents in The ACC budget continues to grow. It was just $25m for workplace accidents in This grew to $938m in The current total ACC budget is now approximately $2,500m excluding the residual account. Summit Systems Ltd has an Injury Prevention training programme that produces spectacular results in nearly all workplaces. The average reduction is 75% in workplace accidents. It is important to note that 95% of our clients have hazardous sites and therefore our statistics are even more impressive. We teach your staff that 99% of accidents are avoidable and then train them to go for a goal of zero serious workplace accidents.
9. Less Employee Claims Against your Business It is estimated that there are 40,000 employee claims per annum in New Zealand. 95% of these are privately settled and the market is not informed. Employees win nearly all the time. The typical settlement amount is $4,000. Employees can get free advice even if their claim is spurious, frivolous or vexatious. On the other hand employers must pay a lawyer to get a defence. Learn how to convert your employees into contractors. Isolate trouble makers quickly and easily. We will help you identify them before you appoint them and help reduce employee claims by 80%. Put in place high quality Human Resource systems to reduce your risk. There are 10 steps required. Having a high quality employment contract is just one step. There are about 300 HR lawyers around NZ and they tend to turn over $1m each on average per annum. Some of them call the present laws the killing field. They know that 99% of existing contracts will fail in court even if they have designed them.
10. Less OSH Prosecutions Not just a good idea, it is now most important! Insurance against the cost of fines is now unlawful and all employers must take extra precautions to avoid losing huge sums should they face prosecution by OSH. The maximum fine is now increased from $100,000 to $500,000 and a fine can be laid under six sections of the act at once making a potential maximum of NZ $3 million. The highest fine in NSW in 2002 was A$2 million. Summit Systems Ltd can help you become 99% bulletproof against OSH. You need to have the assistance of people that are accepted as expert witnesses in the NZ law courts. Install a high quality OHSIP system to get bulletproof. Contact us for advice and direction the moment you have a serious accident.
Summit Systems Ltd give you 100% Satisfaction Summit Systems Ltd is a quality assured provider and supplier of Quality Assurance Systems. We are experts in our field and can assure you that it is much more cost effective to use our services than to waste your own time when you can not be sure of the quality of the outcomes. On average it is 300% cost effective to use our systems and services. Contact us today and enjoy security in business growth and profits.
