My duties involve managing the day-to-day operations of our organization, including hiring of personnel, planning and budgeting, and compliance with regulatory filings. Supervised the proficiency and protocols for the 3D technology as well as software rendering. Provide 3D laser scanning assistance and services for demonstrative deliverables for litigation. Responsible for marketing and networking with various industry associations and government agencies to establish long-term relationships for our products and services. Crofton, Maryland My duties included soliciting and servicing commercial insurance clients by evaluating each individual business clients risks and determining the best risk management solution as to whether to retain all or a portion of their risks, or provide the ability to meet their corporation s needs for traditional insurance coverage : Manager of Human Resources & Risk Chaney Enterprises Waldorf, Maryland My duties included management of the day-to-day operations of Human Resources, Risk Management, and Safety Departments for a company with approximately 400 employees, including regulatory compliance with all Federal, State, and Local agencies. Other duties included managing the large self-insured retention of our Worker s Compensation program, overseeing payroll and benefits, establishing department budgets, providing reports and statistics, and participating in top-level management meetings. Attended all trials involving property/liability claims made against the company, as well as attendance at all Workers Compensation hearings and/or Circuit Court appeals : Risk Manager Chaney Enterprises Waldorf, Maryland My duties included investigation and handling of catastrophic claims, as well as all claims within our large self-insured retained limit. I also supervised Safety Department staff and overall safety management of all manufacturing plants and facilities in addition to review of all business insurance exposures and finding appropriate funding mechanisms to cover them through bidding of catastrophic excess insurance to multiple insurance carriers. Established a light duty program for all employees, which significantly reduced our Worker s Compensation experience mod. Implemented safety incentive plans for all employees in an effort to reduce work-related injuries.
