1 NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED ACTION BY THE OVERSIGHT BOARD FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER VALLEJO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO DIRECT THE TRANSFER OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROPERTIES TO THE VALLEJO HOUSING AUTHORITY AND TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE LONG RANGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at its public meeting on May 15, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. in the Vallejo City Council Chambers located at Vallejo City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo, California, the Oversight Board (the "Oversight Board") for the Successor Agency (the "Successor Agency") of the former Vallejo Redevelopment Agency (the "Redevelopment Agency") will consider the actions described below to direct and approve the transfer of four affordable housing properties and related leases to the Vallejo Housing Authority, and to consider approval of a Long Range Property Management Plan for thirty-two properties. Upon dissolution of the Redevelopment Agency on February 1, 2012, the affordable housing properties and related leases transferred to the Successor Agency pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34175(b). Effective February 1, 2012, the Housing Authority assumed the housing obligations and responsibilities of the Redevelopment Agency pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section The properties proposed to be transferred to the Vallejo Housing Authority are listed below: APN Use Lessee Purchase Date Lot Size Shelter Safequest 28-Nov-88 5, Recovery Bi-Bett 30-Jul-93 6, Recovery Bi-Bett 20-May-91 6, Recovery Bi-Bett 29-Aug-94 6,500 OAK v2

2 As codified in Health and Safety Code section (a) and (a), the Successor Agency is to prepare a Long Range Property Management Plan ( LRPMP ) that sets forth a strategy for the appropriate retention and disposition of real property assets. A LRPMP is to be completed within six months of the Successor Agency receiving a Finding of Completion indicating that it has complied with the requirement for addressing non-real property assets and other procedural requirements. On October 16, 2013, the Department of Finance issued a Finding of Completion notice to the Successor Agency triggering the six-month preparation time frame for this LRPMP. Health and Safety Code Section requires that the LRPMP include a detailed inventory of all former Redevelopment Agency owned property, and that each property be placed into one of four categories: 1. Use of property to fulfill an enforceable obligation 2. Available for sale 3. Retention for future development 4. Retention for government use The properties that are included in the Long Range Property Management Plan are listed below: 1. The Staff Reports related to the proposed actions will be available for public inspection and copying for the cost of duplication at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo, California during normal business hours.
