Survey b.o.p.-rest of the world based on the ESA 2010 and the BPM6 Eurostat will inform the BOPWG on the status of the preparation of the survey, demonstrate changes in the template due to the conversion from the BPM5 to the the BPM6, and explain the requirements and contributions expected from Member States. Inclusion of illegal economic activities in GNI/GDP According to the BPM6 manual, illegal transactions have to be included in b.o.p. data. Way forward of the treatment of illegal economic activities in b.o.p The BPM6 recommends the inclusion of illegal economic activities in b.o.p.; Eurostat will elaborate with the delegates of the BOPWP on the prerequisites for the introduction of elements of the updated BPM6 methodology referring to illegal activities, its impact on standard components and on a possible way forward, to be continued by a CMFB Task Force. Recent changes in the German BOP reporting system BBk will present its experience in the context and in the perspective of BPM6 requirements in changing the collection system (implementing an electronically reporting mandatory system via a big bang).
