1 Consumer Online Property Quote The consumer online quote tool allows consumers to easily receive a property quote online for the Heritage product offer. It collects the consumer s membership, policy, contact, property, discount, and coveragerelated information for property insurance quoting and lead generation purposes. This document is divided into 2 parts. The first part, pages 1 6 illustrates the online quote application a consumer users to generate an online Property lead. The second part, pages 7 8, highlights things to look for when completing the quote in PAS. Consumer Online Quote Overview: Features & Benefits for the Consumer Address Validation accurate information ensures a more accurate premium is being quoted ISO 360 Integration prefills property details and derives estimated replacement cost FAQs specific to each screen to help consumers move through the quoting process without having to call an agent or service for assistance Discounts configured to match what is offered at both the state and club level, presenting the best possible rate to consumers for the Heritage product Quote Process The online consumer quote process consists of these high level six screens: 1. 2 2. General Information eligibility questions are early in the process for a better customer experience If the customer is determined to be ineligible, they will see a friendly message and a cross sell link to begin a new auto quote. 6/2/2017 PAGE 2 OF 8.

3 3. Property Details the customer enters the property address which is validated against USPS. ISO 360 integration will prefill available property details reducing the amount of typing required. Keep in mind, the customer can update these fields themselves if necessary. 6/2/2017 PAGE 3 OF 8.

4 4. Discounts potentially applicable discounts are offered based on state/club availability 5. Your Quote premium amounts and coverage options are displayed. The customer can adjust coverage limits and recalculate the premium amounts. Customer can click the button to send the quote to an agent. 6/2/2017 PAGE 4 OF 8.

6 6. Thank you when the quote is sent to an agent, a confirmation page is generated with a complete summary 6/2/2017 PAGE 6 OF 8.

7 Continuing the Quote Process in PAS Verifying Customer Information Be sure to verify all information the customer entered during the quote process to ensure the quote is accurate in PAS before binding. Pay special attention to the following information: Named Insured Info Customers are limited to add 2 named insureds within the application; confirm that there are no additional named insureds Address: online quote does an address validation. However, if the customer opts to not provide a valid address in an effort to get a ballpark quote, then the address will appear as not validated. o Online quote passes all addresses as residential o The question Is mailing address different from residential? is defaulted to No Occupation defaults to employed Relationship to Primary named insured for Co applicant is defaulted to Other unless the co applicant selects their marital status as Married (Except CA the Relationship to Primary named insured for Coapplicant as marital status is not being collected and is not required) Membership Membership number is optional If a customer states that they are a member but does not provide their membership number their status is membership pending o This is the same status as if the customer says they will consider joining Confirm if the customer is a member and enter their membership number Property Details In order to make the quote tool quick and more user friendly, online quote defaults certain fields with little to no rating impact. Confirm these fields with the customer: HO4 only Roof type is defaulted to Asphalt HO4 only Year Built is defaulted to 2000 HO4 only Construction Type is defaulted to Frame HO4 only Number of stories is defaulted to 2 HO6 Only How do you use this home is defaulted to Primary More than 50% of the Year HO4 and HO6 No of Residential Units is defaulted to 5 15 HO3 and HO6 Construction Type is being collected but LoV Superior is not presented to the customer HO3, HO4 and HO6 Laundry Facility is defaulted to Indoor First HO3, HO4 and HO6 Number of Rooms is defaulted to 99 HO3, HO4 and HO6 (CA only) Number of Residents is defaulted to 3 Discounts Multi policy the customer selects which policies they have, or plan to buy, in order to receive the discount. Follow up to confirm they have these policies and collect policy numbers. Payment Plan Customers are not offered all the payment plan options during the online quote. Inform them about other payment plan options and update their choice, if necessary. Coverages and Endorsements For the initial quote, the customer s coverage limits are defaulted to the standard amounts. However, customers are able to change these limits. Confirm the coverage limits they selected are appropriate for their needs. 6/2/2017 PAGE 7 OF 8.

8 The online quote tool does not present the entire list of optional endorsements in HO3, HO4 and HO6. Endorsements displayed are based on the most popular ones in their state. Confirm if customer wants to add any other endorsements. HO 29 Personal Property Replacement Cost Loss Settlement is added to all the quotes and the customer is not allowed to remove it during the online quote. Confirm this endorsement with the customer. California Only Additional Living Expenses Cov D in HO4 and HO6 is defaulted and disabled to 20% of Cov C. Check with the customer if they want to increase it. Policy Effective Date Unless the customer updates this field, the application defaults the policy effective date to 1 day in the future Insurance Score and Reports The Insurance Score report (Only in states where it s legally allowed to run insurance score), ISO 360, PPC and Fireline (CA only) reports are run during the quoting process when the premium is calculated from PAS CLUE report is not run during the quoting process 6/2/2017 PAGE 8 OF 8.
