1 Post Payment Documentation Request Portal Responding to an Expense Reimbursement Post Payment Document Request Fannie Mae s Post Payment Documentation Request portal provides an efficient and simple way for servicers to upload documentation on already paid expense reimbursements, particularly in circumstances where potential financial harm has been identified. This quick reference outlines how to access and navigate the portal. Access to Post Payment Documentation Request Portal All previous users of the Inquiry Response Tool (IRT) can use the same user name and password to log into the Post Payment Documentation Request portal. Login steps are outlined below. If a user did not have access to IRT previously, Disbursements_Research@fanniemae.com to request a user name and password to the Post Payment Documentation Request portal. Additional information about how to review document requests in the portal are outlined below. Notifications Items requested by Fannie Mae will appear in the portal s queue. Users will receive weekly notifications at the end of each week regarding required action(s). The notifications will look similar to the example below. Steps for responding to a document request Follow the step-by-step instructions below to review document requests. 1. Log into the Post Payment Documentation Request portal with your user name/password at Fannie Mae. Trademarks of Fannie Mae of 6
2 2. Select the Post Payment Documentation Request button to access the portal. NOTE: For users with IRT and Post Payment Documentation Request portal access, the single login page known as the Operations and Support Portal appears Fannie Mae. Trademarks of Fannie Mae of 6
3 The Dashboard screen appears where request details can be viewed. 3. Click the Acknowledge button to begin the process of reviewing research items. 4. Enter the date the document is to be sent back to Fannie Mae and click Acknowledge. Important: Users must Acknowledge each line item in the queue before the queue becomes workable (see below) Fannie Mae. Trademarks of Fannie Mae of 6
4 Review each individual line item. Additional information can be found by clicking on the View link under the Loan Details category. 5. Upload the document requested by clicking on the document icon Fannie Mae. Trademarks of Fannie Mae of 6
5 The user can add comments by clicking on the Comments (A) icon or the user can also Save (B) the research item to complete it at a later time. The user can also request an Extension Date at the expiration of the original document upload date. Enter the new Vendor Extension Date (limited to an additional 30 days) and click the Save icon. 6. Complete the document request submission by clicking the Submit icon. 6 Search criteria includes: Load Date To and From Completed Date To and From Last Updated Date to and From Source Type Review Type Population Claim Status Review Decision Export to Excel The user has the ability to export requested items to a spreadsheet based on the selected criteria. 1. Select the search criteria and click the Export to Excel link. 2. Click the selection desired within the display box. The results will be displayed on an Excel spreadsheet.
