As per Sec.194 IA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, 1% will be applicable on sale proceeds, in excess of Rs.50,00, & the successful bidder/purchaser will deduct TDS & deposit the same by furnishing the Challan-cum-statement in Form No.16-B, containing the Bank s Name & Pan Number as a seller and submit the original receipt of TDS certificate to Bank 11.
