Knsh1 Bbawan w.e.f. date of awarding the contract The contract will be governed by the following terms and conditions:-!. The laundries/materials to be washed are to be collected by the contractor from Room No. 506,!CAR, Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi every week or as and when required by the Council and delivered back neatly washed to the satisfaction of the users immediately after the completion of the job. 2. {a) Item-wise rate should be quoted as given in Annexure-1 and the rates to be quoted should be inclusive of all other charges such as cartage/lab our etc. (b) Name of the firm, portal address, PAN, Service Tax Registration Number(if applicable) and Details of bank may clearly be indicated as required is Annexure-ll, 3. The Competent Authority has the right to award contract to those firm which has quoted the LI rate of maximum number of items. 4. Erasing & overwriting in the quotation in any form will render the same invalid. 5. Payment will be made quarterly at the rates approved by the Council. 6. The rates for each kind oflaundry/material should be quoted separately. 7. The estimate cost of the contract will likely to be Rs.2.50 Lakh The firms quoting the rates will be required to deposit a sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as earnest money in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of The Secretary, ICAR payable at New Delhi. The EMO shall be refunded to the tenderers without any interest thereon after the contract has been awarded to the successful firm. The earnest money will be liable to be forfeited in case the successful bidder refuses the offer. 8. The selected firm will have to deposit a contract security which shall be informed to the successful tenderers. The contract security will be in the form of Demand draft/bank Guarantee in favor of Secretary, ICAR. 9. The contract will be valid for a period of three year However, the same can be terminated even before the scheduled date of its expiry, in case the firm fails to provide satisfactory services or comply with any of the terms and conditions of the contract. 10. The contract can be extended up to a maximum of Three years, with mutual consent, depending upon the satisfactory services provided by the firm The Competent Authority of the Council reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason thereof.
