INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS 1.1 Invitation of Tender: The Thane Municipal Commissioner, for and on behalf of the Thane Municipal corporation hereinafter referred as the Corporation, will receive tender for the above work 1.2 Language of the Tender: Tender shall be written in English only. Any other language shall be accompanied by its translation in English. Only English text should be governing 1.3 Tender Document: One copy of tender document being issued to tenderers. Tender Document is not transferable. Contents of the document are: a) Tender Notice b) Instructions to the s c) Special Instructions to the s d) Tender Form e) Scope of work 1.4 Validity of the tender: 120 days from the date of issue. 1.5 Earnest Money Deposit: a) Tender must be accompanied by a Receipt of Rs 9640/- towards the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in packet A in the name of T.M.C. payable in Thane. No interest will be paid on EMD. b) EMD must be submitted by E Payment. c) Tender not accompanied by EMD will be treated as unresponsive d) The successful s EMD will be retained as security for signing of the contract and for payment of contract deposit e) After the award had been finalized, the EMD of unsuccessful (s) will be returned. f) The amount of Earnest Money is Rs. 9640/- (Rs. 6 Under this online payment system for e-tendering the Tenders will not be submitted/ received by TMC unless the EMD & Cost of Blank Tender are received/ credited before scheduled time and date. Hence, bidder shall remit the said amount well in advance. It is clarified that the Tenders both Technical and Financial will not be considered for opening if EMD and BTC are not received/ credited before schedule time and date, for any reason whatsoever. ALERT:-For the RTGS/NEFT payment option, considering that the payments are settled by RBI in batches, it is advisable that the bidder completes the leg of transfer of funds, from his bank account to his own User Account in the e-tendering system, one day before his desired day of submitting his Tender to TMC.) 1.6 VAT registration & VAT Clearance/ Service Tax (s) should submit a copy of above documents along with the tender documents 1.7 Taxes and Duties on the Material: All charges toward Octroi, LBT Charges, Terminal or Sales Tax, Vat Tax, Work Contract Tax etc. and other duties on material obtained from any source shall be borne by the tenderer(s). 8 Scope of Work Contractor Daily physical cleaning of Datta Ghat at Masunda lake should be done, which include cleaning of garbage and floral waste. The present employee of the contractor should prohibit citizens from dumping garbage, plastic bags, holy offerings, bread, etc. in to the pond. Daily garbage, Nirmalya collected from Datta Ghat should be put into near by Dustbin or Ghanta Gadi or as per the policy of TMC. The contractor must provide material for cleaning such that broom, drum, hand gloves, etc. for collecting garbage. Successful shall have to strictly comply with all statutory requirement under provision of labor act. Boat supplied by pollution control cell is for daily cleaning of Datta Ghat at Masunda lake. It is contractor duty to keep the boat clean and safe. Spraying of green water guard or other approved solution in a Datta Ghat twice in a week is mandatory. During festive season doses may increased as per circumstances. The contractor should kept at least four employee for cleaning of Dattaghat at Masunda lake. During festival season like Ganpati, Navratra etc cleaning of datta ghat, maintaining of water quality is an utmost imp task. Employees of the contractor must put all garbage,nirmalya etc at ghantagadi provided by TMC. Scope of Work Thane Municipal Corporation TMC will provide boat for cleaning the Datta ghat at Masunda Lake. Routine water analysis will be done by TMC and on basis of that instruction will be given to contractor. TMC will provide ghantaghadi to transport the nirmalya, garbage.
