1 RFT SEATING REPLACEMENT AT THE BRANTFORD CIVIC CENTRE Addendum Issued: March 25, 2015 ADDENDUM No. 3 The following shall form part of the Request for Tenders documents for the above, first issued by the Purchasing Division on February 26, 2015, and the revisions and additions noted herein and any attachments shall read in conjunction with all other documents. This Addendum shall, however, take precedence over all previously issued Request for Tenders documents where differences occur. A. FORM OF TENDER PRICING SCHEDULE: DELETE: Form of Tender Page 5 REPLACE WITH: Revised Form of Tender Page 5 Bidders are advised that line item 1 of the Form of Tender Pricing Schedule has been revised to include a cash allowance. The cash allowance for seating shall include the following: The molded seat, armrests, brackets, seat numbers, row letters, and the anchors including freight costs to be provided by Irwin Seating. On site warrantee training provided by Irwin Seating at project commencement. Verification at project completion that the seats have been installed per manufacturers recommendations to be provided by Irwin Seating. B. 2 C. BIDDERS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Question #18 Answer # 18 How should we classify the seats for disposal; regular construction waste or hazardous waste? Per the attached TLCP analysis the seats can be disposed of as commercial waste at any non-hazardous landfill. It is the City of Brantford s recommendation that the Contractor investigate possible recycling and salvage means available, prior to classifying the arena seats as waste. Question #19 Is the Contractor responsible for providing the Anchor? Answer #19 No. Per the attached revised Form of Tender the Anchor is included in the Cash Allowance for the seats.
