1 S (SRS) DOCUMENT EXPLANATION All costs are subject to annual review. State schools in Queensland are required to provide Student Resource Scheme (SRS) information to any persons interested. This document comprises 2 parts: 1. Summary of fees per year level 2. A comprehensive list of resources and their actual cost to the school Year 7 and 8 pay a flat rate of $250 per student for core subjects and administration. Year 7 and 8 are not offered elective subjects. Years 9 and 10 pay a flat rate of $250 per student for core subjects and administration. Students also pay a fee per elective subject. Some elective subjects are more expensive than others to deliver; therefore the school has capped all elective subjects at $60. Years 11 & 12 pay an administration fee of $70 and an OP administration fee of $30 (where applicable). Years 11 and 12 also pay per subject. As per Year 9 and 10, elective subjects are capped at $60. Every student receives a Textbook and Resource Allowance from the State Government. Years 7 to 10 receive $125; Year 11 and 12 receive $271. The government pays this allowance to the school. The information in this document shows how this amount is used to decrease the SRS fee and subjects fees. Every student will be issued with a tax invoice for their Student Resource Scheme fee and elective subject fees if applicable. If you would prefer to pay your student s fees before you receive the tax invoice you can: 1. Contact the school and request the amount your student should pay 2. Use the Summary of fees to calculate the amount your student should pay Instrumental music students will pay a fee of $60 BYOx Device Program (ipads & Laptops) All students will be required to pay a $30 fee to connect to the school wireless network. The fee allows the connection of three (3) approved personal devices for each student for a 12 month period. IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THAT THE BYOx DEVICE PROGRAM (ipads & LAPTOPS) COST IS NOT APPLICABLE IN 2018
