1 College Credit Plus Course Eligibility Guide Allowable Courses Level 1 In most cases, students who have completed 15 or fewer semester hours may only enroll in s that fall within the Ohio Transfer Module (OTM), Transfer Assurance Guides (TAG) and Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAG) or any in computer science, information technology, anatomy physiology and foreign language (including American Sign Language). All s in the following computer science, information technology and foreign language subject areas are eligible level 1 s: Foreign Language Subject Areas: ARAB, CHIN, CSD, DSI, FR, GER, GK, INDO, ITAL, JPN, LAT, RUS, SUDN, SPAN and SWAH Computer Science and Information Technology Subject Areas: CS,, ITS and MIS Study Skills and Career Guidance Courses Courses that are designed to assist students with study skills or academic / career success are considered eligible level 1 s. Examples of these would be EDCE 2010 and UC Please consult with the Director of Dual Enrollment Programs if there are other similar s you would like considered. Sequential Courses Level 2 s are permitted if the s requisite is on the level 1 list and has been successfully completed by the student. Level 2 Students who have completed more than 15 hours can enroll in any for which requisites have been met and which has not been designated as non-allowable by the Ohio Department of Higher Education (see below for a list of non-allowable s). In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code, Ohio University must take care to give registration priority to its degree-seeking students while attempting to provide CC+ students with reasonable class choices. However, once a CC+ student has officially registered for a they will not be displaced. Not all level 1 s listed are guaranteed to be offered on all of Ohio University s campus or available online every semester. Please plan ahead by working with your academic advisor to create a schedule based on available offerings. Participants in the CC+ program are encouraged to work closely with their college advisor and high school counselors to assure that they are taking the proper s, including those necessary for high school graduation credit.
