2 Dear 3DS U.S. Colleagues: At Dassault Systèmes, we are committed to providing affordable, competitive benefits and resources that support you in your health, wealth and life. During Open Enrollment, we want you to Choose Well. Save Well. Be Well. Let s explore what this means. Choose Well. Review all of your options and take advantage of those benefits that make sense for you. Beyond the core benefits of medical, dental and vision insurance, we provide additional services to help you get the best care possible. Our Best Doctors program, provided to you at no cost, connects you and your family to medical experts to confirm diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and help guide you through any major medical issue facing you or a family member. We recently added telemedicine through our Blue Cross medical plans, offering you the convenience of connecting with doctors virtually. Teleheath saves you the time to travel to your primary care physician s office and is a great option if your needs are outside of regular office hours, or you re away from home. Save Well. Many of you are familiar with our Dassault Systèmes 401(k) Employee Savings Plan to help you save for your retirement. Are you aware of other tax-advantaged savings plans, like our Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or the Health Savings Account (HSA) available when you enroll in our Health Investment Plan medical option? The HSA allows you to contribute pre-tax dollars, invest those funds in an account similar to a 401(k) account and then pay for eligible medical expenses with tax-free money. And what s great about the HSA is you re not required to use the money for medical expenses you incur by the end of the year. The funds in your HSA are available for medical expenses now or in the future, and your account grows with no limit. Be Well. The healthier you and your family are, the lower your health care costs will be. Not every medical issue can be solved through living a healthier life, but we all have opportunities to reduce our risks through healthy behaviors. Our Vitality Wellness program is designed to reward you for taking a more active role in your health by increasing your physical activity, learning more about nutrition and taking advantage of the preventive services our medical plans offer at no cost. We also recognize the importance of providing you with support to balance the responsibilities of work and home life. Our paid leave policies are key to this and include vacation, holidays, sick leave (available for your own illness and your family members ) and parental leave. The upcoming Open Enrollment period runs from October 24 through November 4, and I encourage you to take action. 3 Choose Well. Open Enrollment is your opportunity to Choose Well for the coming year. This means thinking about your coverage needs and making the right choices. To Choose Well, use the available resources and then select the best plans for you, your family and your budget. Medical Benefits 3DS offers three medical plan options. All three plans are administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA), cover the same services, provide access to the same network of providers and include prescription drug coverage. You also have access to our medical resources, like Telehealth and Best Doctors. The cost of our medical plans is increasing 2.5% for 2017, and employee contributions will increase accordingly. Additionally, to manage rising costs in the Copay Plan, the copays for various services will increase. The copays in the Coinsurance Plan remain the same. For the third straight year, employee contributions for dental and vision coverage will not change. Our new Telehealth benefit gives you 24/7/365 access to a national network of U.S. board-certified licensed physicians through video consultations. Physicians can diagnose, treat, and write prescriptions for routine, non-emergency medical conditions, such as a sore throat, allergies, cold and flu, respiratory infections, behavioral health (mental health) services, and more, via your computer, mobile device or tablet. Most visits take about minutes, and doctors can write a prescription, if needed, that you can pick up at your local pharmacy. Saving well isn t just about saving for your retirement with your 401(k) Employee Savings Plan Open Enrollment is your opportunity to Save Well on your health, too. 3DS provides benefits to help you make the most of your money now and in the future. Use the tax-advantaged accounts, and consider the various income protection resources available to safeguard your financial well-being. To get started saving well, think about: Tax-advantaged accounts: Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Health Care Flexible Spending Account (for Copay Plan and Coinsurance Plan participants) or Health Savings Account (for Health Investment Plan participants) Commuter Benefit Plan Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Optional AD&D Insurance for you and Optional Life Insurance for you, your spouse/domestic partner and your dependent children Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage, in case an illness or injury prevents you from working Identity Theft Protection, discounted security against data theft and digital fraud for you and your family, provided through InfoArmor (at a cost of $3.67 per person or $6.44 per family, per pay period; you may elect coverage for 2017 during Open Enrollment) Investing in Your Future Events in recent years have emphasized the importance of sound fiscal planning, and 3DS supports you in your efforts to invest in your financial future. Consider the Health Investment Plan for your medical coverage, which allows you to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA). You can use HSA funds to help cover current eligible health care expenses, or you can save them for the future. Also, take the time during Open Enrollment to review your contributions to the 3DS 401(k) Employee Savings Plan. 3DS matches 50 cents on the dollar, up to the first 8% of your eligible compensation. At any time during the year, take advantage of our partnership with Longfellow Benefits. Meet with a representative, at no cost to you, to set and monitor your savings and investment strategy. We want 2017 to be your healthiest year yet, so take advantage of some of the wellness benefits offered, such as the Vitality wellness program and our time-off policies. No action is required during Open Enrollment, unless you wish to elect the Hyatt Legal plan, but we encourage you to explore these programs. Our paid leave benefits are a key element of our benefits package. Paid vacations and holidays provide time for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits. You can use 80 hours of paid sick time to recover from your own illness or care for the medical needs of a family member, rather than exhausting valuable vacation time. Parental leave provides employees who give birth to a child six weeks of paid leave for birth, care and bonding in addition to any disability benefits available. Employees whose spouse or partner gives birth to a child, or employees who adopt a child, are eligible for two weeks of paid leave for care and bonding. Wellness Program Vitality is an interactive and personalized wellness resource that makes it easy for you to live your healthiest life, with programs that are easy to access and fun to use. Earn Vitality bucks that you may spend at the online mall to purchase fitness devices and gift cards for Amazon, itunes, Whole Foods and more. You may also choose to donate your bucks to a charity organization. Use our paid time-off programs to help you recharge and find your balance. Legal Program We ve partnered with Hyatt Legal, a division of MetLife, to offer a plan designed to help keep legal services affordable. The plan provides coverage for a wide array of legal services, including family law, wills and estates, debt matters, and real estate transactions. We will also provide detailed information to help you select the best medical coverage for you. If You Don t Enroll Your 2016 contributions to a Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA or Health Savings Account will not carry over to You must make new elections for these accounts between October 24 and November 4. All other benefits will carry over from 2016 to Estimate your expenses with the Medical Plan Cost Estimator: This tool, provided by BCBSMA, allows you to consider the financial and tax impact of each medical plan option, based on the information you provide. You ll better understand your out-of-pocket expenses for the upcoming year and see which plan might offer you the best value. You also can use the tool to determine how much to set aside in a Health Savings Account or a Health Care Flexible Spending Account. Note: Any personal information you enter into the Medical Plan Cost Estimator, including your calculation results, is confidential and will not be shared with 3DS.
