Personal income data are not adjusted for inflation. Real personal consumption expenditures (PCE) rose at a 4.2 percent annual rate in April after declining at a 1.3 percent rate in March. Since April, real PCE has risen 2.5 percent. is Sales of new single-family homes fell 1.6 percent in April to the lowest pace since December Sales totaled 206,000 units in the first four months of the year, down 6.8 percent from the same period in. ^ The composite index of leading indicators fell 0.2 percent in April, following a 1 percent increase in March and a 1 percent decrease in February. v0 The dollar's trade-weighted exchange rate has risen slightly after falling the previous four weeks.
