1 User Guide for Your Retirement Plan Website
2 Home Page Type in the web address: To access your account, go to Select Account Type in the top right corner of the screen. Click on the drop down arrow and select Retirement Plan. It is safe and secure to proceed. Login Screen SS# - No dashes Last 4 digits of SS# The first time you access the website, enter your Social Security Number with no dashes in the User ID field. Your Password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. For Select Role, choose Participant. You will be asked to answer three security verification questions and change your password. 2
3 Summary Tab Personal Info - Lists your current information, such as address, hire date, date of birth, and marital status. At a Glance Shows your account balance, vested balance, and beneficiary designations. Account balance is as of the previous business day. Balance by Source Displays the different money sources in your account 401(k), Roth 401(k), Match, Rollover, etc. Balance by Investment - Details the different holdings in your account and your current investment elections. Charted Balances - Displays the way your portfolio is allocated among individual investments. Placing the cursor over any section will show you the exact percentage of your total portfolio allocated to that investment. This is particularly helpful for participants who have selected individual fund options. It can help you determine if your account needs rebalancing. Beneath the Account Balance chart is an Asset Allocation chart that displays the composition of your portfolio by asset class. Important Message From time to time Trust Point will post an Important Message to your account. You will be notified in the upper right corner when a message is pending. Click on the link to display the message. To delete, click on Don t Show Message Again. 3
4 Investments Tab - Information Account Balance Shows your current account balance and vested balance; the different investments in your account; the number of shares you own; and current share price. If you are investing in a Profile, click on the link to see all of the funds in the Profile, along with the vested balance, the number of shares owned, and current share price. Investment Election Info Indicates how you have chosen your future contributions to be invested. Contributions Lists your last contribution amount and deferral type. View Loans If your plan offers loans and you have a loan outstanding, you can get up-to-date information on the loan as well as an amortization schedule. 4
5 Investment Options Lists the individual mutual funds available in your plan. For current fund information, click on the following links: Download a current prospectus Link to Morningstar Mutual Fund reports Mutual Fund Redemption Fees May Apply Rate of Return View your personal rate of return by month, quarter, or year. Returns also can be displayed by individual holding or overall portfolio. 5
6 Investment Returns Investment return information is listed for individual fund options as well as for the Profiles. Figures are updated monthly. Transactions Tab To Make Changes to Your Account Investment Elections Changes your future contributions only. This will not move your existing money. Enter the percentage you want to invest in each fund or Profile. Percentages must equal 100%. 6
7 Transfer Funds Moves existing balances only. Can transfer by percentages or by $ amounts Transfer Between Investments will move your existing money among the available investment options in your account. You can move by dollar amount or by percentage. If you transfer a dollar amount, the system will limit the transfer to 90% of current market value. Rebalance Investments Based on New Allocation Percentages will realign existing money to a new target allocation. Rebalance Investments Based on Current Allocation Percentage will realign your existing balance to your current investment elections. You can select this as a one-time rebalance or set it up for periodic rebalancing. IMPORTANT: After you have made your selection(s), click on the Submit button. Review your changes; then select either Continue to process your investment selection(s) or Cancel. You will be given a confirmation number on the next screen. We recommend you keep a copy of the confirmation until your transaction is complete. You will also receive a confirmation letter in the mail. It is your responsibility to notify Trust Point of any discrepancies. Transaction History Allows you to select a date range to view activity within your account. 7
8 Web/VRU Requests Lists any transactions made via the website or voice response system. It will list the details and status of your change request, the type of transaction, and confirmation number. What Happens When I Make Changes Online? Important: Changes made via the website do not occur instantaneously, or even on the same day you select new investment options. This is because your plan holds mutual funds, which have settlement periods. Transactions involving mutual funds do not work the same way as when you buy or sell individual stocks. Our system sweeps twice a day, usually between 7 and 8 a. m. and again between 2 and 3 pm. This is when changes entered on the web are picked up. If you select different investment options after the account has been swept in the afternoon, the changes are not picked up until the following morning. Let s look at a timeline: Monday: I change investments in my account after lunch. Monday: The changes are picked up between 2 and 3 p.m. Monday: In the evening, the sale is placed in late day trading. Monday: Over night, the sale proceeds are determined. Based on the sale proceeds, your new funds are purchased. Tuesday: The settled trades are reflected in your account and available on the web by noon. Let s modify the timeline: Monday: I change investments in my account after dinner. Tuesday: The changes are picked up between 8 and 9 am. Tuesday: In the evening, the sale is placed in late day trading Tuesday: Over night, the sale proceeds are determined. Based on the sale proceeds, your new funds are purchased. Wednesday: The settled trades are reflected in your account and available on the web by noon. Changes to your User ID or Password, and changes to your Investment Elections (future contributions), take effect the same day. The timeline above describes what usually happens after you make a change in investment options. However, other circumstances also can delay a transaction. These include interruptions to internet service, delays due to posting of income or contributions from your employer, system disruptions from power outages, or other unforeseen developments. 8
9 Tools Tab Reports You can create personalized statements for your account. From the Select Report dropdown box, choose Participant Certificate. Select the plan year and enter a date range, then hit the Submit button. The report will be created and stored for future reference. estatements You can sign up to receive electronic statements after you have received your first statement by mail. Simply click on the estatements link, then read and accept the disclosure. An Important Message will alert you when your statement is available for viewing. We will archive your four most recent quarterly statements. 9
10 Forms Investment Election/Change Forms, Salary Reduction Agreement Forms, and Beneficiary Designation Forms are available to download and print. Financial Resource Center This single, easy-to-navigate source of financial information is a tremendous resource. The content is organized by age groups because financial needs vary in different life stages. Topics include Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Investing, Estate Planning, and Tax Planning. The content is updated periodically. It includes informative articles, planning guides, interactive tools, and calculators. 10
11 Personal Profile Tab Edit Personal Information Allows you to update your current contact information. Change Password Lets you change your password. Please follow the criteria listed. Forgot User ID or Password? A link on the login page lets you request a User ID/Password reminder. You will be asked to enter your Social Security number and to answer a security verification question. Please note: The system can only send a reminder if you have entered an address in your personal profile information. Reset Web Access If you get locked out or the password reminder system does not work, please call Trust Point at (608) or (800) to have your password reset. The default login is your SS# with no dashes as the User ID, and the last four digits of your SS# as the Password. (See page 2). 11
