We will discuss some of the direct damage and loss of use issues faced by individuals and businesses before, during and after natural disasters such as storms and earthquakes. We will look at coverage forms commonly written and how they may respond to claims presented after such disasters. Lastly, we will briefly explore some liability insurance issues that can come into play in a catasrophe, whether the catastrophe is a natural one or one that is man-made.
