This bid consists of two (2) packages. Please enter your company's bid on the attached corresponding bid form. 2. Substitutions are not allowed for Bid Package #1. If substitutions are offered on Bid Package #2, a full explanation of the variation must be provided. Any or all substitutions may be rejected at the discretion of School District #2. 3. Each bidder shall include with his bid a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, payable without condition to School District #2, Sweetwater County, Green River, WY, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract. 4. The bid shall be let to the responsible Resident Bidder making the lowest bid if such resident's bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible non-resident bidder. To be considered for the 5% preference, the bidder must submit their State of Wyoming Certificate of Residency Status with bid. 5. Upon award of bid, the successful bidder of Bid Package #2 will be required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance to School District #2. Liability insurance requirements are included in the bid documents. 6. As evidence of specified insurance coverage, School District #2 will accept certificates issued by the insurance carrier showing such policies in force. Each certificate will bear an endorsement or statement waiving right of cancellation or reductions in coverage without ten days notice in writing to be delivered by registered mail to School District #2. The types of Insurance the contractor or company doing repairs shall secure and maintain are: 1. Workers' Compensation Insurance coverage. Proof of enrollment for all persons whom they employ or may employ in carrying out the work. The insurance shall be in strict accordance with the requirements of the most current and applicable Workers' Compensation Law. 2. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance coverage for bodily injury and property damage. Must include Sweetwater County School District #2 as an Additional Insured. a. The bodily injury portion shall include coverage for injury, sickness or disease, and death, arising directly or indirectly out of, or in connection, with the performance of work for School District #2 and shall provide for a limit or not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence. b. The property damage portion shall provide for a limit no less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) for all damages that arise out of injury to or destruction of property of others that are directly or indirectly out of, or in connection, with performance of work for School District #2. c. Any company who will have underground exposure must have explosive, collapsible underground exposure coverage listed on their certificate. 3. Automobile Liability and Property Damage Insurance coverage: in the use in connection with the performance of work for School District #2 of all owned, non-owned and hired vehicles bearing, or under the circumstances under which they are being used, required by the State Motor Vehicles laws to bear license plates. The coverage under such policy shall not be less than the following limits: Bodily Injury - Each Person $1,000, Each Accident $1,000, Property Damage - Each Accident $1,000, ONLY THOSE FIRMS WITH THE INSURANCE COVERAGE LISTED WILL BE ALLOWED TO DO WORK FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT #2.
