The isurace provided by this documet covers loss or damage that occurs durig ay period of isurace for which you have paid, or agreed to pay, the premium. If cover uder ay sectio of the isurace is provided by uderwriters at Lloyd's, each uderwriter is oly liable for their ow share of the risk ad ot for each other's share. Schedule The documet showig the vehicle we are isurig, the isured, the isurer or isurers, the documet umber, the premium ad ay edorsemet that applies. The latest schedule forms part of the cotract of isurace. Your vehicle The isured vehicle specified i the schedule. Edorsemet A chage i the terms of this isurace. A edorsemet replaces the relevat wordig i this documet ad is prited o, or issued with, the most recet schedule. Excess A amout you must pay towards the cost of a claim uder this isurace. Period of isurace The period covered by this isurace (as show i the schedule) ad ay further period we accept your premium for. 7 Sectio 1 Loss of or damage to your vehicle We will isure your vehicle (icludig its accessories ad spare parts) agaist loss or damage caused by: accidetal or malicious damage or vadalism; fire (icludig your vehicle burstig ito flames), lightig ad explosio; or theft or attempted theft, or your vehicle beig take away without your permissio. This cover oly applies while your vehicle, its accessories ad its spare parts are kept i the locked garage that you have told us about ad which is show o the schedule. Your vehicle is also covered while it is temporarily out of the garage if you are exhibitig it, or havig it repaired, i the UK (icludig while it is travellig to ad from the exhibitio or repair premises). While your tools are i the locked garage you have told us about, they are also isured up to a total of 100 for loss or damage caused by fire or theft. Laid-up vehicle isurace 5

8 Exceptios to Sectio 1 This sectio of your isurace does ot cover the followig. Ay road traffic accidet you may have or your liability to others arisig i coectio with your vehicle. The amout of ay excess show i the schedule or o the isurace documets, or both. Ay claim arisig while: your vehicle is beig drive or used uder its ow power; your vehicle is beig serviced, maitaied or repaired,(uless the claim arises because of a fire); or your vehicle is kept at a place which you ow or occupy ad which is ot show i the schedule. Wear ad tear of your vehicle. The vehicle's value reducig, icludig loss of value as a result of damage, whether repaired or ot. Loss or damage by someoe gettig your vehicle by fraud or deceptio. Failures, breakdows or breakages of mechaical, electrical, electroic or computer equipmet. Damage to tyres. Damage due to liquid freezig i the coolig system. Ay idirect loss. Ay loss or expese due to bad workmaship. If the vehicle maufacturer or its aget ca't supply a part or accessory from stock i the UK, ay amout above the last kow list price of the part or accessory plus the reasoable cost of fittig it. Loss resultig from the vehicle beig repossessed ad retured it to its rightful ower. Loss of or damage to your vehicle, its accessories ad spare parts by theft or attempted theft, or by a perso takig it, if: it has bee left ulocked; it has bee left with the keys i it; it has bee left with the widows, suroof or roof pael ope; it is a covertible vehicle ad the roof has bee left ope; or reasoable precautios have ot bee take to protect your vehicle. Ay loss or damage that is also covered by ay other isurace. Ay result of war, ivasio, act of foreig eemy, hostilities (whether war is declared or ot), civil war, rebellio, revolutio, or military power. Direct or idirect loss or damage caused by, cotributed to or arisig from: earthquake; riot or civil commotio occurrig i Norther Irelad or outside the Uited Kigdom; ioisig radiatio or cotamiatio from ay radioactive uclear fuel, or from ay uclear waste from burig uclear fuel; the radioactive, toxic, explosive or other dagerous property of ay explosive uclear equipmet or uclear part of that equipmet; or pressure waves caused by aircraft ad other flyig objects. 9 Settlig claims uder sectio 1 For a claim uder this sectio of the isurace we may either: pay for the damage to be repaired; pay a amout of cash for you to replace the lost or damaged item; or replace the lost or damaged item. You must first pay ay excess show i the schedule. The most we will pay will be either: the market value of your vehicle (icludig its accessories ad spare parts) immediately before the loss, up to the value show i the schedule; the cost of repairig your vehicle; or the cost of repairig or replacig the spare parts, up to the value show i the schedule; whichever is less. We will ot pay the cost of ay repair or replacemet which improves your vehicle or accessories to a better coditio tha they were i before the loss or damage. If this happes, you must pay a cotributio towards the cost of the repair or replacemet. This cotributio would be o top of ay excess you have to pay. Repairs If your vehicle is damaged i a way which is covered by this isurace, give full details to Footma James at the address show o the frot of this booklet. Write-off (total loss) If your vehicle is cosidered to be a write-off (that is, if the cost of repairs is greater tha the market value of the vehicle), we will offer you a amout as compesatio. This isurace for your vehicle will ed whe you accept that offer. The vehicle the becomes our property. Storig the vehicle after it becomes a write-off If your vehicle is cosidered to be a write-off, we may store it i a safe place while we are arragig to pay you. Fiacial iterest If the vehicle is a write-off ad it belogs to someoe else or is uder a hire-purchase or leasig agreemet, we will ormally pay up to the market value of the vehicle to the vehicle's legal ower. 10 Sectio 2 Liability to others We will isure you for all amouts you have to pay for: death of, or ijury to, ay other perso; or damage to property; as a result of ay accidet you have i the Uited Kigdom while your vehicle is appearig at orgaised rallies, shows, exhibitios ad other public evets. Limits of cover for property damage For ay property damage claim or series of claims arisig out of oe icidet, icludig for ay direct or idirect loss, the most we will pay is 25,000,000 i total ( 20,000,000 for damage ad 5,000,000 for costs). If a claim for property damage is made agaist more tha oe perso covered by this isurace, we will first deal with ay claim made agaist you. If a umber of claims are made agaist you for property damage arisig out of ay oe cause, we may pay you up to 20,000,000, less ay amout we have already paid as compesatio. Whe we pay this amout, we will ot take ay further actio coected with settlig claims from that oe cause. We will pay ay legal costs ad expeses that have bee ru up with our permissio, up to the time we stop dealig with the claims. Exceptios to sectio 2 This sectio of your isurace does ot cover the followig. Loss of or damage to ay vehicle, equipmet or property belogig to (or i the care of) ayoe we isure ad who is makig a claim uder this part of the isurace. Ayoe who ca claim for the same loss from ay other isurace. Ay damage, death or ijury caused while the vehicle is beig drive or used uder its ow power. Ay accidet which the Road Traffic Act applies to. Ay damage, death or ijury arisig outside the Uited Kigdom. The most we will pay is 2,000,000 for ay oe claim or claims arisig out of oe icidet. 8 Laid-up vehicle isurace

11 Geeral coditios The followig coditios apply to the whole of the isurace. 1 We will provide the cover described i this isurace documet oly if: ayoe makig a claim has met all of the coditios i this documet; ad the iformatio you gave o your proposal form ad declaratio or statemet of isurace is, as far as you kow, correct ad complete. 2 Your premium is based o the iformatio you supplied at the start of the isurace ad the iformatio you supply each time it is reewed. If you have failed to give us complete ad accurate iformatio at the start of the isurace or whe you reew it, this could lead to your claim beig refused or the isurace ot coverig you. 3 If you or ayoe actig for you: make a claim which you or they kow is false, fraudulet or exaggerated; or provide false or stole documets to support a claim; we will ot pay the claim ad this isurace will ed. 4 After ay loss, damage or accidet you must give us full details, i writig, as soo as possible. 5 You must take all reasoable steps to protect your vehicle from loss or damage. We ca examie your vehicle at ay reasoable time. 6 We ca: take over, coduct, defed or settle ay claim; ad take proceedigs, at our ow expese ad for our ow beefit, to recover ay paymet we have made uder this isurace. We will take this actio i your ame or i the ame of ayoe else covered by this isurace. You, or the perso whose ame we use, must co-operate with us o ay matter which affects this isurace. 7 If we accept your claim, but you ad we disagree with the amout due to you, the matter will be passed to a arbitrator we both agree to. Whe this happes, the arbitrator must make a decisio before you ca start proceedigs agaist us. 8 We or Footma James may cacel this isurace by sedig seve days otice, by recorded delivery, to your last kow address. If you have ot made a claim ad will ot be makig a claim, we will refud the part of your premium that applies to the remaiig period of the isurace. Footma James will charge a cacellatio fee. 12 9 You may cacel this isurace at ay time by phoig or writig to Footma James. If you cacel withi 14 days of receivig this documet ad you have ot made a claim for a total loss, you will receive a refud as explaied o the iside frot cover. If you cacel after this period we will ot give you a refud. 10 If your vehicle is stole, you must tell the police as soo as possible. 11 If you make ay chage to this isurace we may charge a admiistratio fee. 10 Laid-up vehicle isurace

13 Importat otice You must tell us as soo as possible about ay chages to the iformatio you have provided. Whe you tell us about ay chages, we will tell you if your premium or terms of cover will chage. If you are ot sure whether certai facts are relevat, ask Footma James. If you do't tell us about relevat chages, your isurace may ot cover you fully or at all. Here are some examples of the chages you should tell us about. A chage of vehicle (icludig extra vehicles). All chages made to your vehicle if these make it differet from the maufacturer's stadard specificatio (whether the chages are to the vehicle's egie, iterior or bodywork). A chage of address. Details of ay accidets or loss (whether or ot you make a claim) that ivolves your vehicle or happes while you are drivig ayoe else's vehicle. Laid-up vehicle isurace 11

14 Edorsemets A edorsemet oly applies if the edorsemet's umber is show i the relevat place i your schedule. Details of all edorsemets are either show o the followig pages or are supplied with your schedule. If, i the schedule, a edorsemet umber is followed by a amout, the specified edorsemet will be limited to that amout show. If a edorsemet umber is followed by a vehicle registratio umber or idetificatio umber, the specified edorsemet will apply oly to the vehicle which has that registratio umber or idetificatio umber. Edorsemet umber 02 - Excess For ay claim uder sectio 1, you must pay the amout show agaist this edorsemet umber o the schedule. Edorsemet umber 21 - Agreed Value If your vehicle is lost or totally destroyed, we will pay up to the amout show agaist this edorsemet umber o the schedule. Edorsemet umber 80 - Trackside extesio The cover uder sectio 1 of your documet (Loss of or damage to your vehicle) is exteded to provide cover while your vehicle ad its accessories or spare parts are i restricted areas of a race circuit. For example, this applies i the pits, but ot while o the track itself. We have icreased the excess show i edorsemet 02 to the amout show agaist this edorsemet i the schedule. This exteded cover will ot apply to loss or damage: if your vehicle has bee left uatteded for more tha three hours, or if you have ot immobilised the vehicle so that it caot be drive; while your vehicle is waitig to be removed from the race track or course after a breakdow or collisio; to accessories or spare parts uless they are fitted to your vehicle or are temporarily stored i a securely-locked buildig or i a locked vehicle that has bee immobilised so that it caot be drive; to accessories or spare parts left uatteded for more tha three hours, eve if they have bee locked i a buildig or vehicle as show above (other tha whe locked i the garage show i the schedule, where they would ormally be kept); or arisig outside the Uited Kigdom. Uder this exteded cover, the most we will pay for accessories or spare parts is 1,000. Edorsemet umber 81 - Fire extiguisher We will ot pay for ay damage caused by your vehicle burstig ito flames uless you have a fire extiguisher fitted to your vehicle. 12 Laid-up vehicle isurace

15 Edorsemets Edorsemet umber 82 - Battery isolatio We will ot pay for ay damage to your vehicle caused by a fire or explosio resultig from a electrical or electroic fault or failure uless your vehicle has a battery isolator switch. Edorsemet umber 84 - Foreig use We have exteded the cover uder your documet, for the dates you gave us, to cover your vehicle while it is i Norway, Switzerlad (icludig Liechtestei) or ay coutry which is a member of the Europea Uio.
