3 SAFETY Maria Oliviera ** Due to interest shown at the February meeting, I would like to get a list together of Daycare centers that would be interested in receiving a First Aid kit or craft supplies. If you have a particular Daycare that you would like to assist, I will collect the names at our April meeting. Also, if you could find out if they prefer First Aid or craft supplies, that would be helpful. Going forward, my plan would be to compile the information, then in September start collecting the items for the kits. Depending on how much we collect and the number of Daycares, we could present one or two during the year to a Daycare. EDUCATION Heidi Bartlett & Tina Howe The Education Dept only needs to report that Debbi Kuhne did an amazing job as our Instructor for the CE/IAIP Class Professional Ethics Not Just For Agents on The class was well received and had a good attendance by both CPCU members, WAIP and other local associations. Thank you! Tina & Heidi Minutes of the Waterbury Associations of Insurance Professionals March 7, 2012 Meeting called to order at 6:20 PM. 10 members are needed for a quorum (35% of membership). Our attendance this evening is 14 members, therefore we have met the requirements for a quorum. International has proposed an increase to dues. At Region One conference, a vote will be taken whether or not to move the motion forward for vote at international conference in June. Our members voted to send Beth Marano Shimkevich as delegate to Region I conference, instructed. The membership voted to move the motion forward. Kim Fitzgerald will be the alternate. A motion was made by Beth Marano Shimkevich to suspend the rest of the business meeting. It was seconded by Sharon Miket. The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 PM.
